Yeah, I know, can't wait for NYZ 2 and Punch Quest to come out tommorrow, that'll be awesome, and will keep me over until MC4, two great games from my two of my favorite developers, rocketcat games and foursaken media. Damn I love their production values. Gameloft is good too but seeing as they're a large multi million dollar, multi project, company, and they are employing hundreds of people, getting coordination together for innovation or anything new would be nigh impossible, while innovation and new ideas is what keeps the Indy developers alive, and truthfully, what I end up enjoying most, other than truly console like experiences such as the modern combat series.

    Look out your window.
Of course I would, but not until it's completed. I have no problem waiting, I got NFS MW coming soon, some other big releases.. I'm all set until mc4, no problem waiting. I want a complete, bugless, hacker free, flawless well made game, not a shitty half made alpha stage beta crap. If they release it in Febuary so be it.

Here's an idea....maybe the reason why the game wasnt released yet was because Ganeloft was waiting to see what Apple would release yesterday, so that they could optimize the game for the iPad mini and iPad 4....

iPad 4 now has A6x so Ganeloft may be adding a ton of optimizations for it.

Not really. It's same as iPad 3, just different chip. Doubt they are going to add effect for a6x chip. Since its same as iPad 3, no optimized needed

What are you talking about? The iPad 4th gen is 2x as powerful as the iPad 3rd gen.

God a hate apple!! I just bought an iPad 3 gen and its not even a year old and they release an iPad 4th gen :(

    That's not quite right.
There's a big chip difference between iPad 3 and iPad 4. Maybe now (hopefully) they won't need the option of turning off effects to run retina resolution like they did in NOVA 3.

iPad mini has same resolution, but still a smaller screen and accidental touch enhancements so there is a possibility of buttons having to be moved or resized from their default settings.
And yes I know there is full customisation for buttons but default positions might still have to be rejigged.
I know of quite a few developers, not just game developers, that have indicated they will have to do that.

I think adeeb246 might very well be right.

But not a "ton of"... It will probably take them a day if they really want to relesse the game fast.

iPad 4 doesn't seem necessary for me right now, though I'll probably change my mind as soon as MC4 comes out.

It would certainly give you an advantage in the game. If MC4 is anything like NOVA 3, frame rates will be a bit of an issue if you use retina graphics. But necessary? I don't think so.

No, not a ton of, a little bit I would think.
They might not have to do anything at all as they might have had access to early prototypes anyway for a period of time and then had to test on the final release ones.
It's too hard to comment as it would be internal company procedures anyway.

Either way, I don't mind because if what they are doing is testing anti hack and bug removal means the wait will be worth it.

Good, I definitely would not like to see that happening.
It'd be a bad marketing move and those that got it would one star it if it was very buggy.
Those that didn't get it would be disenfranchised because they didn't get it.
    Never works well for anybody.

Keep making it better with security and no (minimum possible anyway) bugs and release it when it's ready works best.

I have framerate problems in MC3 multiplayer. It's the crappy, overcrowded servers.

    Maybe...

Okay, i understand that you dont have a specific release date yet, but i am guessing that you have kind of an idea on how development is going:p So, is it looking like its going to be ready for release before black ops 2, or sometime after? Maybe, is its release sooner rather then later??? If its later, then thats great! it means your investing more effort into it:) And if its earlier, then that is SUPER DUPER SUPERCILIOUS. I understand that you want the hype there, so if you cant give us an idea, then thats okay! But.....pretty please with cherries on top:)
