Well the A5 chip is suffice for me. It will play games well. Should play Mc4 just fine. Apple I love your products but you really string your customers along ( on purpose I'm sure) You just know that the new iPad mini 2 will be released in 6 months with the A6 chip...... Apple...... you guys
My iPad 1 is so old now, and I'm thinking of getting iPad mini or iPad 4. I think the iPad mini will be outdated within a year anyway and I'll be in the same position as I am now, but the iPad 4 is not really affordable for me at the moment, should I wait another few months until I can afford iPad 4 or get iPad mini now?
iPad 4. It's very doubtful of an iPad 5 in march this time and the a5 chip and upcoming games will not play as nice as retina and a6x There's a thread in the lounge on iPad mini and stuff by jbruu, best to post iPad stuff there. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=160790
Thank you, I agree, it's just agonising having to wait month after month after month still with an old device! And yeah sorry for the off topic :/
Hehe, my kdr according to the reset stats is 0.000612088752869, soooo.... That's pretty good. Sucks that you lost your rank too though.
No worries. It's all off topic everywhere today because of iPads anyway. That rank reset thing I must check out. Were the boosters removed from leaderboard as well?
Nope not odd at all, the most advanced Russian rifle to date is based on the AK concept but uses advanced russian recoil tech to fire two rounds in rapid succession before recoil kicks in. The three round burst is more standard in video games so gameloft used it, and probably for balancing reasons.
I can't connect to the servers. It might just be that the servers are down. I remember before MC3 was released, everybody had their rank reset in MC2. However, they fixed it in a couple of hours.
As mc3 running on a5 devices, it will not run well as mc3 did. Nova 3 was pretty crappy for iPhone 4S. Lags a lot. And since mc4 looks better than nova 3.. I doubt that game will run fine on a5 devices... So devices that is going to run mc4 would be like this iPad 4 > iPhone 5 > iPad mini > iPhone 4S > iPod touch 5 > iPod touch 4 I didn't put iPad 3 in there because looks like apple is getting rid of iPad 3 for good. They didn't even announced price drop for iPad 3!
"We’ve integrated tougher safeguards and security measures." I really hope this will be the end of hacking, at least in a widespread manner! You've acknowledged the problem, that's good!
Ganeloft's Spidey senses finally kicked in! They've removed Speed Hackers. Modern Combat 3 will be much more smoother now hopefully.
How do you know that Mc4 is not going to run well on A5 devices? Gameloft probably has learned from their errors and this game could be efficiently optimized and run well on A5 devices.
READ THE EDIT FIRST! Okay seriously Es? We wait a week to get one up gun and a map that half of us already knew existed? If this game is even going to be released in November, then you guys will have to basically unlock the entire site within a matter if weeks. If the game isn't going to be released in November, then you will lose out on a massive portion of your gamer audience because they will be playing BO2. And please don't say that you don't have a release date. Even if you don't have an exact release date, you can at least narrow it down to a week. You realistically have about 1 month until Fall ends, so don't tell me that there is no release date set. I am sure that the release isn't going to be decided when one of your employees randomly decides to release on a random day. EDIT: Disregard some of the above info. I typed this up a couple of hours ago, but I retracted it because a lot of the people were talking about the iPad Mini, so it would probably be ignored. I just read you article in security, and I think it is awesome you guys are paying attention. However, I want to make sure that if someone reports someone, you have to make sure that they are hackers before you ban them. I know many people That are so skilled in MC2/ MC3 that many people would automatically assume he was a hacker. I remember in MC2 I played against someone I thought for sure was a hacker because they were killing me, a level 72 player with 100's of hours of gaming tie, almost instantly, but I later found out that they were on the top of the leaderboards, being one of the best players in the world. So before you start banning people left and right, make sure you double and triple check. Also, the punishment for hacking should be a ban, not a rank reset. Rank resets are useless given the fact that hackers can hack their rank back. Also, PLEASE,PLEASE read this Es. I want to be sure that at least someone at Gameloft knows my tale and makes the nessessary precautions.
Awesome. Anti hack is essential. Keeping some stuff on the server side is an excellent solution. Plus a proper report system that will detect the types of hacks is another essential element covered. Very happy. My primary concern is covered by the looks of it.
I seen this one guy yesterday in Mc2, user name is Maintaining or something like that he was running lightning quick and actually going through walls. ( Going through walls, never seen that before) anyway he acted like a tool, ran through a wall a shot me and then quit. Hacker with no skill. Anyway yes, please ban these speed, one shot kill, god mode, heavy armour hacks. So tired of these guys trying to ruin good competitive games.
I play Nova 3 and haven't noticed any hackers. I don't really pay that much attention though. Is hacking a big issue in Nova 3? If not, why is everyone so worried about cheaters in MC4? Gameloft ID is Slayher if anyone is up for a challenge in Nova 3.
