Right now I am not having that mcuh hope. We hardly have any info, the release trailer hasn't been released yet, the Dev diary hasn't been released yet, and if they keep updating the website at its current rate, then with luck everything will be unlocked in June. Unless something changes, I think we'd be lucky to see a 2012 release.

I still think this game will be released on November 8th. Maybe even next week. This game is going to make a killing in sales.
The game will most likely launch the week of or before CoD Black Ops 2. Gameloft will want to maximize visibility alongside the Call of Duty launch. That's just an educated guess, though.
I don't think they want it that close together. A lot of people would rather play BO2 then MC4, so some of the less iOS-happy gamers won't grab both in the same week. I would think it would be a week or 2 before black ops, or even after. Not the same week. Just an educated guess.
I agree. Releasing MC4 at the same time as BO2 could easily backfire and leave MC4 with less attention than desired due to everyone focusing on the bigger release.
My thoughts exactly. I remember last year when MW3 was released, half the boys at school did nothing for the next week except play COD. I know for a fact that there are iOS Gamers who debate whether to play iOS or console, and if MC4 is released around Black Ops, than the latter will largely overshadow it. I think the best time to release it would be the 1st, because it would allow gamers to get a lot of playing time in before BO2, and some might decide to play MC4 over BO2 because of it. Since the game looks like it is almost finished, based upon the small amount of info we have, I think GL should release it the 1st. MC3 was recently updated, and I realize that MC4 will probably have some minor bugs. Maybe GL could periodically update the game to patch some of the bugs that the gamers found. However, this is mainly wishful thinking, as based upon my post below Gameloft is leading us to believe that MC4 won't be released anytime soon.
Not so much people deciding to play one or another, but just not caring about mc4 once bo2 is out. Them codfags who spend their life quickscoping the same game since 2006, for instance, are not gonna care about a new shooter on iPhone. They're gonna be too busy whining about the new sniper rifles in BO2 and how much more... golden.. the gold camo is... This is coming from a guy who's buying BO2 on release, so not bashing.. The difference is i play as much iOS as console if not more.. Not the case for 99% of the people who have made CoD the best selling game ever Hell, even a few weeks after BO2, same story. CoD doesn't even have to be good, it's the shiznit around the world regardless. Time mc4's release right, and that is earlier, or considerably later if you want any attention on it. That's what they're gonna do, gamelofts not stupid... maybe
Nov 1st, please make it happen. That's when the beta ends for ps Allstars.. I can't wait 2 weeks for black ops 2 with mc3. Soooo boring and over played. 450 hours of gameplay is enough for one game

Can't wait for MC4 .but I believe I won't get much time to play it as BO2 is coming out.they better release it before nov
I have a feeling we'll be seeing MC4 at todays Apple event. MC4 and iPad Air are a match made in heaven. The new GPU combined with a smaller screen will make for a nice balance in graphics and performance. The smaller bezel will make it easier for kids to use the iPad's touchscreen controls too. The perfect portable gaming device imo.
