Still downloading... And yo idk if it is, but if this is off topic, use the mc3 thread cuz I don't wanna get in trouble again -_____-
Ya im pretty surprised as well, maybe they are testing out the new security before they release mc4, but this isnt the first time they updated to implement better security, so im not convinced just yet.
Man, that annoys me about Gameloft games. I always buy these games on release for 6.99 and then they continually go on sale for .99 cents. 6.99 is well worth it for this type of premium game but Gameloft is killing the small developer or indie developer with this practice because most iOS gamers ( not all ) are extremely cheap and don't want to spend 5 bucks on a triple AAA title. So they wait for these type of sales.
Lag can make people appear to be moving quicker than usual so keep that in mind. In nova 3 everyone was complaining about a knifing hack from people far away but it was just a lag problem.
New content Also, new article up on the website, with a video at the end of it! (not the dev diary, but something to hold you over until then)
Looks like we'll be seeing a good deal of MC4 in the next podcast. Edit: we have a ways to go until release, guys. Quite a ways. This was, according to the article, the "last day of shooting". That was a recent clip, probably from a few days ago. They just now finished with the motion capture. No way we'll see the game this month, probably late next month. That's my dynamic, ever changing prediction and it will stay that way until new info leaks out.
.... because even if they have a premium game, they won't be able to release the game at a fair price like 6.99. By Gameloft having all these .99 cent sales. There is no way an indie developer can compete with that pricing. Therefore they have to lower their price, thus reducing profits and the need to implement IAP's. Unfortunately that is the trend, nowadays. Generally iOS gamers are waiting for all these games to go on sale, instead of paying the original release price. That's why all the top paid apps are usually .99 cents and in the case of top grossing apps. Mostly freemium or .99 cents. Games like Horn, Trigger Fist comes to mind. Excellent games that couldn't even crack the top 25 in paid apps because they were supposedly priced to high. No one would buy them or download them until they went on sale and in Trigger Fist's case it became a Free game for a couple weeks.
