No, it's defensive playing, buddy. Camping is sitting in one corner your entire spawn, trying to cheaply shoot enemies as they pass by unaware.
Thanks! Its funny, I just finished reading an email from GL support telling me the devs are now aware of the issue. Really looking forward to playing! I have been holding out for gyro controls, its so difficult to play once you have become used to them. Its like the finishing touch for aiming once you've panned to your target by swiping first.
Yeah you're right. I'd still like to see his stats because he sounds one of those guys who have 1.5 kdr and think they're amazing cause in cod a kdr like that is pretty good
I really wouldn't get mad at people that camp.( Just for the record, I never camp, btw) but if I did who really cares because it is a strategy. Good players always find a way to adapt. This is not directed at Lolavi or anyone else here. I just find it funny when people get all PO'd over someone camping or using an RPG. Those players never win deathmatch. They end up usually getting low kills as apposed to more aggressive players.
Well I feel like this is towards me since I hate RPGs and I sometimes play defensively. RPG players I don't care if they do good or not, it's just annoying and kinda humiliating losing to them. And about the camping, I never camp. I always move around, just that if I get a flag I will move to the side and try to not be attacked from behind. Besides, most of the time I don't go for the flag. But when I wanna be a team player I will play defensively. I do rush most of the time. I just thought I'd like to help some guys out on how to get good scores and then I get crap pointed over by guys claiming I camp though I was just sharing a nice strategy I used like 5 times...
One things for sure; I don't camp or sneak around to get kills. I go out there like a boss and handle sneaking cowards. In fact I hunt players like u all day long. Easy kill since all I have to do is search every corner of the map. So please kids don't hate the player, hate the game. Sincerely; SolidBOSS
Its just a game dude, no reason to feel humiliated. People take this stuff way to seriously. Rpg is annoying though.
Are people that new to FPS to hate campers that much? You've never played Quake 1 in it's heyday I assume. Correct? Good campers are a joy to eliminate, and I love the challenge they pose when done effectively. FPS PVP is incredibly boring without variables such as this.
You're right and thats why I don't bother even replying back to Solidfart But of course I don't really feel humiliated. That was kind of like an expression. I just hate how easy the kill is for them and they don't need any trouble while I'm running around trying to enjoy the game. Then they run at me with an RPG as their primary. I don't like secondaries And people IM NOT A CAMPER. :/ Jeez x999x did you even read half the things I said? I posted a strategy that I tried couple of times and suggested people to try it because it was quite a good way to do well in manhunt. Don't feel bad, it's perfectly fine to use a camping/sneaking/defensive strategy if that's how u can win. I just like to play like a crime boss, running around and decimating those who dare go against the family.
No Lolavi, Not directed at you at all. You shouldn't care what other players think. Bottom line is you do what you can to win, whether it's camping, assault, using the RPG, Sniping, whatever. A really good player will be good at all facets of the game. People that call someone a noob for doing well at their chosen strategy or because they are getting killed are just plain mad and frustrated. It doesn't mean that someone that camps isn't annoying at times because they are but like someone has just mentioned it proposes a challenge to take them out, and it's part of the enjoyment. If they are really good at camping/Sniping it must feel pretty good to them if they can take out 9 people in a row. That's pretty talented also.
The starter gun is one of the best guns in the game. Stick with that until you prestige. Save up for the Jolt as a secondary, only way to go. Also only go with the intervention class, has a lot of powerful perks. Don't bother with the snipers or shotguns or any other assault rifles except the Ufia, at least until you have cash to spare.
I don't like your attitude at all and even if you are trying to apologize for calling me a camper(back then you weren't saying its fine), you are still being so cocky and making it seem like I am some lowlife camper. You're making it seem like playing defensively is a bad thing and your strategy is the best one. Even though you may not mean it that way, you're making it seem like it is. Anyway, competitive gaming brings emotions up. But this sorta thing never happened to me with MC3 when I really couldn't even compete :/ Being actually good at an online FPS isn't as glorious as I thought it'd be :/ I get hurt easier by others comments as you can see. MODS DON'T REMOVE THIS PLEASE. I want solidfart to see this. This is not picking on a fight anymore.
