Mc3 wasn't balanced. You know there's something wrong with the balancing when all you see is a few select weapons used on the game. Literally almost all I saw was ACM, OPS and TXR. Oh an Roar
I agree. It was very hard going back to MC3 after a while, when I was a level 10 and everyone else what 50+. All I saw was the OP guns while I got dominated.
Ridiculous. Havok engine is cutting edge. That statement tells me you know nothing about physics or developing a physics engine for a game. And before you say I'm wrong, I was in Trinity college in Dublin at the same time as the two founders of Havok developed the engine in 1998 so I know what I'm talking about and I know the level of hard work and simple genius that goes in to it. Plus why did Intel (another massive technology giant) buy the company in 2007 if it wasn't cutting edge? What exactly do you know about the effect and reaction of a vested body when its hit by a hollow point bullet at 681 miles per hour? Can you judge it's exact reaction direction? A grenade between your legs has what effect exactly? Could you possibly design an engine that would accurately predict the results of such things better than Havok? Criticising physics in a game that is using Havok simply means you have no idea what you're talking about. The amazing amount of criticism against the game going on here at the moment is literally astounding. What exactly were you expecting? iOS is not console yet this is as close as you'll get and still there's criticism. The best thing is if you expect a 50/60 dollar console game on mobile for $7 with some iap (that is not necessary), don't buy another iPod touch/iPhone/iPad. Stick to consoles. And spend your $50 there on one game. No, it's not perfect. No game is. At least none that I've played. But for $7 you're going to complain about a multi million dollar physics engine not being realistic? The next person that knows what happens when hit by a hollow point, jacketed or 9mm round at 681mph or proximity to a grenade when it goes off and the resulting physics reaction is allowed complain about physics. The rest should go and get a degree in physics and economics and then come back and complain. I've heard a couple of MD's of gaming companies say before that you can never please a gamer no matter how hard you try and I questioned their statements but funnily enough, some of the groundless and pointless complaints here prove their point perfectly. It is a game on a phone/tablet. What the hell were the moaners expecting. I'm baffled completely by this one.
i love how you get the same amount of coins as the exp you got.....was that in mc3(im pretty sure it wasnt) or is it new?
Well thought out... What gameloft squeezed out the hardware for this game is truly amazing if one stops and just realizes how advanced of a platform mobile devices have become.
Thank you. Funnily enough I'm left with a weird image of Superman trying hard to catch up with the parts of him the grenade blew off. (Or would of had if it wasn't Superman, still, its a funny image) And a desire for a good Superman game on iOS.
IMO the physics isn't quite real. The effects of a bullet wouldn't send you flying - true. But NO game is real, this is the closest you'll get! The thing is most games on the console, when you shoot them, they just go to the floor. But they wouldn't do that. I imagine that the problem with the game is that gameloft didn't go and put every limb as a part and flesh actually connected by skin, I imagine that they built a model in modeling tools and attached bones to it. That is quite great but basically just ragdolls. It doesn't apply the right force because it isn't just hitting the bone and sends the person flying. Also I am quite sure that NOOO game has done games the way it is in real life. For example: When you reload the gun the code isn't having the bullets in the magazine and into the gun. It doesn't actually have the inside's of the gun that shoot the bullet. It DOES have an animation of the clip and then creating the bullets inside the gun and shooting it. YOU HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THAT RIGHT??? Because you can't see it. So the kinks aren't worked out yet but it's a great game and everything. To be accurate you would actually be able to make the character flinch and pain and clutch wherever they are hit. Then it would be real. Also each person would have to be 1x1x1 pixel blaocks to be realistic. There is my thoughts. I don't have a degree in physics but I am a computer scientist.
Lol I am not bashing the game. I am just saying physics in this game isn't the best physics I have seen in mobile platform. In MP, when you shoot a guy sometimes, they will literally just fly away to the sky, it's pretty funny
Ufia? You mean Uzi? It's terribly inaccurate at anything but short ranges. As for knifing, I love it. Everyone can knife like that, so that's isn't OP so much as make actually useful from MC3.
The thing about the knife is that it's either overpowered or useless. If it doesn't do instant kills then there is no reason to use it.
I knifed someone and they were gone. Looked up and turned out that their bodies were flying to the air. BTW the vect 9 isn't so good, hipfiring accuracy is not that good. Damage wise it is high. Not as high as the jolt though. Waste of 40,000. My KDR rose by 1 because if the jolt, loving that gun.
