I hear you Killjoy, I can attest to that because when I play with the ipod 4G, it lags, crashes, and is unbearably slow in general. Tonight when I was playing with the 4s, there was a major difference in graphics, smooth gameplay and no crashing or slow framerates. The iPod 4G is done like dinner.
The game's low damage is frustrating for me too, especially on this iPod's frame rate (makes it really damn hard to consistently hit an enemy).. Are you sure it's a bug? Also I feel as though hip fire is weaker in damage than ADS... Is that just me?
Yeah man, it's making me despise iOS gaming. Not really, but I'm playing games less and less on this thing cuz its just frustrating 99% of the time. Again, not an excuse -- i can still play the game and even compete, it's just ridiculously hard.
Actually your allowed to make excuses, it's extremely hard to play on the ipod 4G, it's a major disadvantage. I'm actually surprised that it's supported, cause it runs like sh-t.... but I guess it's better than nothing.
You should have followed me to the next games. I didn't quite dominate them. Suicide bomber was in there with me for a few and damn, that guy has skill. To be fair we both finished on top but he pwned me completely in the first one and then got pwned himself in the second one. Which just go to show, balancing is good. I was wondering where you went, because with you, me and suicide bomber in it, I was waiting for the rest of TA to join and crown a king. Was shaping up nicely. I thought you'd played very well anyway, especially considering the lag you mention. On an hilarious side note (if you're a bit of a sicko), managed to shoot a guy earlier and blow his head right off into the air. Got killed straight away because I couldn't stop laughing. Yeah, I know a bit sick but it was damn funny to see. Shot a lot of limbs off but the head flying straight up into the air and the body slumping to the ground was just sick. And hilarious. Trying out the jolt at the minute to see if its any good. And I think I've finally hit a respectable 2.0 kdr (might be 1.99, must check that). Chasing down 3.0 now. Though anything higher than 1.0 is actually good at this stage in the game. It is substantially tougher to survive than mc3 was.
yeah, I'm glad it's supported. It runs well enough. Actually surprisingly well. Much better than expected and much better than mc3 after the updates that screwed it. Its the lag and everything combined with the slow gameplay that I'm liking less and less. Just feels lame shooting someone, especially with the device's problems and my still getting used to the game.... Whole game just feels weird. I'm starting to miss the feel of mc3. Another thing is the damn ADS, it's a damn pain to use. Also the shotguns and semi auto's freakin suck without gyro scope, which I'm also starting to miss (used to use it in mc2) The maps are too big, repetitive, and cumbersome. The grenades and throwing knives are weird. The graphics suck which make aiming at long range hard. Don't understand the recoil. It's just retarded. But hey, other than that, I love the game!! /rant
It's crazy how the graphics don't look very good on the iPod and look excellent on newer devices. It's almost a different game. I need a mini iPad to play this game on.
I did terrible that match, lag or not. But yeah it was funny joining your match from random matchmaking and than seeing suicide bomber. Yeah I saw the head get blown off in the trailer... Guess Im a sicko too, cuz I was really looking forward to it. Sadly however, that level of gore is apparently not supported in the iPod version. Figures.
I love blowing heads off. The two best gunsare the 80k one and suprisingly, the starter gun. Anyone second prestige yet?
Works well enough. It's worth getting if you want it. There's some frame rate issues but totally playable for the most part.
Just had a few mp games and i dont know what people are complaining about. The maps ive tried have been smooth and i had no problem killing people, i was getting long range headshots and headshots from hip fire (close range). And im only on the starting gun. Im still getting killed quite a bit but im a bit rusty, havent played a ios fps online for about 6 months. Anyway, im having a blast
Ive noticed that if you create the match then it is super smooth, so that proves that any lag issues that people are having with the 4S are down to internet/server problems and not gpu lag. I have pretty good broadband so the mp games ive played have been great. Just a thought.
lags on the 4S played it campaign with all apps closed, and plugged into AC, can't imagine how laggy MP is also game loft did something with the movement and control sensitivity because the controls suck or maybe it's just unresponsive touchscreen from the lag
