    Still nothing :(

Also, I realised that the ACOG scope is broken pretty badly on the X6...
It's like the cinematic-mode glitches, and when you turn around in a circle, the scope moves up and down (not your aim, however). 180 degree rotations makes your scope level one more. Looking up and down makes the scope move left or right, which is just plain annoying when using it.

Looks like many of the scopes are glitched. Try playing a match on modern combat 3 and then play modern combat 4.

The continued existence of this bug since an early 2012 update to MC3 is very irritating to me. How the hell did it carry over to MC4? Ridiculous. I wouldn't be too annoyed, but this really affects the way I play the game in a huge way. ADSing and firing simultaneously is my play style, and having to guess where the bullets are hitting or not being able to see anything at all is frustrating.

Yeah, but OP stuff is not for real men. Real men go out to the battlefield with a surpressed pistol which name I forgot, but I know it burts.

Only if you can beat the dude hip firing with your pistol.

    Which you can't.

Anyone got a good way grind for money? I've been playing VIP matches 'cause you can earn quite a bit per kill if you get lucky (one time I got a kill, VIP kill, close one, teammate protection, and payback all for 1kill.)

I used to play a lot of Manhunt. I don't remember if it was nerfed in the update, but before at least you could get over 40 kill matches since the match never really ended because someone won the objective, but because we ran out of time. Zone Control and CtF are shorter, but there's a lot of more XP from objective involved.

  12. No word on Gameloft duo gamer support I would assume?

This game will never support the duo.

    Hacker free.

Well, there are some out there, but I haven't come across any personally (and have played an awful lot) because they take the anti hack very seriously, have strong security measures and any reported player who turns out, after investigation, to be a hacker, is banned for life.

The team behind this one have taken it very seriously indeed and you can be very assured its very well monitored.

Thanks Rip73, any tips you can give a first timer? First weapon to purchase, attachments to use? The basics

Go back to page 585 of this thread.
The top post on the page, from username 2133, has a blog link in his signature which gives some very good advice on attachments and loadout for all the weapons. Genuinely useful.
Would take a load of time and space to put the same up now:)
    Check it out.
Be sure and read the archives on the blog as well. All the details you'll need are in there on all the weapons.

But on the weapons, the first one you get is extremely useful and has the best range of uses, long range or short range depending on attachments. Accuracy is great on it.

Compakt is what I use the most but it is the most expensive and will take a while to get.

One key thing for levelling up and accumulating coins is the challenges. Try and do as many as you can as they pay off big time in relation to xp and coins.

Also, stay away from me in a match, I'm a killing machine and domination of every other player is my only aim:) (kidding, sort of)
Otherwise just hit me up with friend request. Same username.

Thank you both, I know I'll probably get clobbered at first, are the maps very large?

    Yep.
The three new ones in particular are very large.
Can't think of their names right now, but there's a train station, an arctic lab and city one.
Three great maps with lots of trap points and cover areas.

One last thing is don't play the custom modes for the time being. They don't give xp so are only any good for longer matches for already ranked players.

On the play selection page, there's a mode on the top right of the choices (middle of screen really) titled random quick match, play that.
It picks random maps and random modes but it pays out coins and xp.
Its real good for playing the full range of maps and match types.

Once you have a preferred match type and mode, you can choose those through ranked match on the top right if you wish. For me random quick match is still the best choice.

And then if you want longer matches or to play with specific players (greater than ten or fifteen minutes), choose the custom matches.
But they don't do anything for your xp (or coin if I remember right) so they are not one I would play if I was new to the game.
