C'mon I used to give my tips away all the time back when I didn't suck. It's actually kind of rewarding hearing people enjoying your tips. do it man
Game Impressions Well, I think I can say without a doubt the update has made this game fun again. The x6 is going to get really annoying but, at least I can use it agaisnt them. I guess what keeps the game addicting is the op weapons, much as I hate to admit it. Without the Compakt and Charbtek the game wouldn't be as fun, dishing rage is a lot more fun than be on the recieving end. Also, they are pretty damn satisfying to use. Takes no skill, of course, and the charbtek wasn't really nerfed but what can you do? Oh, the Ufia feels buffed, i think they increased the ROF. Socars i think is the same but it doesn't feel as slow to kill. Maybe they just improved their servers I don't know. The new noob tube is not as op as I thought. It actually takes a bit of skill, even using the best setup for it. Granted, this is if your ONLYUSEmeNOOBTUBES and you aren't using your primary most of the time. The old Nub tub is pretty much the same, still as good as ever. Haven't tried the rocket launcher yet. I pretty much have given up in having a balanced game. And you know, it's all right, I don't care anymore.
This overpowered this, overpowered that debate is somewhat pointless. There is a distinct difference in each weapon related to damage, range, rate of fire, handling and mobility. Some weapons suit different play styles either very well or very badly. Sniper rifle is useless for run and gunners as is the charbtek in my opinion in close combat. There is no single rifle to suit every style of play. I see nothing overpowered or unbalanced about that. If the weapons all behaved the same, well then there would be zero point in having the choice in the first place. The ideal balance is one rifle, one handgun. That would strike me as somewhat boring in relation to levelling up. And as things stand, if you find a weapon overpowered, well then just use it. Problem solved. And before someone says you can't use all the weapons from the beginning (without iap), well you don't know all the maps from the very beginning either. Or the suitable tactics. Or the hiding spots. Or anything. All things considered, the very first rifle is a very useful weapon for getting to know the game. And a lot of the prestige 15 rank 50's that I play against all the time, still use it. The higher priced weapons, or any weapon or attachment or perk linked to rank, needs to have some differentiating factor. They need to have something that makes them worth earning, something to aim for. Otherwise, as I already said, one rifle and one handgun is all that's necessary. On another point that the update didn't change particular weapons, the update absolutely changed the balance on the weapons. After putting 225 hours into the game, I know all the weapons very well and I have retested all of them and the difference is substantial. But again the ultimate balance is no choice in weapons. As things stand in this though, if you set up your weapons right, they could all be considered overpowered. Even secondary such as the ops can thrash a charbtek carrier if you put the right attachments on it. And on the noob tube, the only problem with it is ammo amount, too much. It is the easiest thing in the world to avoid, unless you're camping. There is a little grenade warning. And if you're getting killed by it when running and gunning, well, you're simply doing something wrong because the reload time on it is extremely long and they are the easiest payers in the game to kill while they are in the middle if reloading. Its a very simple tactic. In other words, there is no one single loadout that will allow you to dominate and be invulnerable. That doesn't sound like over powered to me. Of course some are more effective with particular play styles but isn't that the point of having a range of weapons and perks.
Ha ha. Anyway, friend me up on Gameloft Live. Not on the in game system, in the Live log in and the send friend request option in there. Just so I know where the request came from. I've a very large request list that I tend to just delete and ignore unless I know who it is. Same username as here. I am having a hit of a streak at the moment. Just went 30-2 in battle, 43-5 in zone control and 25-1 in team battle. Team mates weren't particularly useful. They did come in handy as shields, cannon fodder and decoys every now and again though. They just didn't know it.
What if we don't have the credits for the interesting and specialized guns? What do we do then? ( I realize the SOCARS is amazing, and I love it, but it's nice to try something a little less of a jack-of-all-trades once in a while) My main complaint about the noobtubes is that the fuse time is just short enough to allow the grenade to explode before the warning appears on the screen for me. (Really bad latency problems for me lately, no idea why) It's just pretty frustrating for me to get killed and then see the warning, I guess.
lol that's sly using them as decoys XD. By the way my Gameloft ID is nestor92. I'll send you the request soon. Just keep an eye out for it so you won't delete it right away haha
Readied shot+charbtek= pwnage. But I didn't know why the guys I was playing with couldn't kill me. They know my weakness is long range, don't they? Explosives rounds FTW. I'm also trying out the KR-200 without any sights. So far, so good. Makes me think like I'm in the military and what not.
I totally get what you mean there. And its all very fair points. Part of the reward of playing is getting those other weapons though. I know at the beginning or just early on its a it tough but that's the challenge element of the game, which is very important and the reward element is the higher weapons, which is again very important, it gives a sense of progress and motivation to play. Even when you're rank 50 prestige 15 with literally everything in the game bought and equipped in different ways, the updates with new weapons are essential to keep motivated to play. In any game. So essentially, you are very right in what you say, but the game would be less if it didn't have those elements. And the noob tube is annoying but it really annoys constant noob tubers if you kill em with one
QFT. Would make learning game styles easier. If possible also gun models with the attachments. Edit: does anyone realize the gun models feature a switch to move from single shot to burst to automatic(excluding the KR-200, shotguns, pistols, launchers, snipers)?
Has anyone realized the gun models feature a stock to steady the gun against your shoulder (excluding pistols)?
