Yes. If you are for example, trying to capture a zone and someone pops out, you have to let him kill you. What am I thinking.
I'll bet they are awesome, though I have yet to try them as under both my names I'm still at like the 25th rank on their current prestiges (12 and 7). I should be up to 40th on at least one of them by tonight though. I agree about the headphones. I have an unrelated question for you. How is sniping and quickscoping on your ipod 4? Is there any noticeable lag compared to players with newer devices? I'm on an iPad 2 and in the process of learning how to be do both of those things well. It seems like experienced quickscopers have seen me and shot me before I pull the trigger - no matter how fast I think I am at quickscoping. I'm not sure if it's my older device, my inexperience at sniping or both. ...OK I lied. It was actually TWO questions lol.
Well of course the device matters a lot. I'm not even gonna lie - it effects it a lot and its very frustrating. Often you think you think you got the opponent, because you see a hitmarker, but thwn you die. In the "biz" we like to call thay a deathmarker. Its caused by lag and happens so much on ipod. Before update that didnt bother me and I wad getting.sniper bombers and beating 2133 constantly in a 1v1(bare in mind sam plays with iphone 5 and is so good that FeaR wants him in their clan). After update Im lagging so much I cant play at all. Stopped playing until I uografe. So yeah, its not just u hos having problems. This llag is insane.
OK. Yeah. I think I'm just gonna wait until I upgrade my device before I try quickscoping. Like you, I've considered stopping playing altogether until I upgrade - my K/D has gone down a bit since the update. But I'm just gonna go on and keep playing for awhile and see if I can raise it back up again.
Well, it all finally came back together for me despite having problems to readjust my loadouts with all the rebalancing that went on with the update. Latency in the first couple of days contributed to my misperceptions on some of the weapons. And took a big dip in k/d. When you've 25,000 kills in it, it goes down pretty fast but needs 30-2 fairly regularly to get it back up. Back to 2.49 now which is pretty reasonable. Latency has corrected itself by the looks of it as well, which is great. And cracked the top 300 again on the leaderboard. Never gonna get that top 25 back again but still. Sill can't get my noob tube to where it was but pretty happy with that as it just means they balanced it better. The guys using the explosive rounds are quite funny as well. Had one last night chase me around all match with a shotgun and explosive rounds. He never could quite get me. The noise was a tad annoying but always gave away his position and it just became an easy kill at that stage. He also had the handgun launcher. It didn't help him. You gotta love that over confidence. There are such easy kills As for those new maps, talk about necessary tactics and hiding spots. Caution is the best way to go but they are awesome maps with multi levels and trapping areas. If ply I could get some decent team mates. The one game where I had a decent group on the team, we slaughtered the rest of em on the new Barcelona map. About 35 kills each (zone control) and the other team only got 2 kills. 'twas a slaughterfest. My only issue is the snipers on Alert but once I actually master quick scoping (unlikely to happen, skill just not there for it), that'll change. Noob tube used to work great for me on that one to counter snipers but I'm just not getting the range or damage now even with demolition. Overall though, its one hell of an update and has set the bar really high for MC5. Which on a side note I'm even more eagerly awaiting now based on the fact that it has to improve on this one which will make it very interesting. Edit. @2133. Took your advice. Went back to the ufia for a load out. Good call, very happy with it.
Tell me about it After the period of time out of action with the iPad 4 glitch, I was essentially the useless team mate in the beginning. Even went negative k/d a few times (which was a hard pill to swallow). All is as it should be now in the universe though (after a bit of practice and a lot of reorganising load outs).
Lol I still haven't gone negative, so I guess that's a good sign. The loadouts have me incredibly confused.
True. Right now I'm downloading the update to my Galaxy Note 2 - which COULD become my main device for playing MC4 until I upgrade my iPad.
Pump action shotty+explosive rounds are lots of fun. Might even be a tad OP, but it's just hilarious blowing your opponent 20 feet away from you when you hit them. I'm tempted to post some loadouts. I've got a few killer ones, but I don't want my secrets getting out
