One of the modes looked like destruction, hopefully the other mode is bomb squad because I really enjoyed playing that mode from MC3

Exactly what I thought when I saw that RPG shooting at the box. And yeah some bomb mode since the guy was carrying a bomb.

The two new modes are diffuse the bomb and destroy the device.
That's not the exact names but they are two modes that should be familiar to MC3 players.

In one, you destroy three devices (look a bit like single server banks funnily enough) dotted around the maps.
In the other, one team must ensure a bomb goes off while another must try to diffuse it. The bomb can be picked up.

Ohhh, I remember those modes! Good times, good times. I wish they would bring back the original manhunt mode though (FFA manhunt). I loved that one.

Not for a good while yet.
The video and E3 build are very much demos (WIP).
Q4 is the timeline they've quoted so anytime between oct to dec.
Probably within a two week area of when MC4 launched.

But that'd be a very rough estimate as a lot can change in testing and development.
The update proves that point considering they did want to release that a month or so ago but it needed further testing to iron out bugs.

Take that delay as a good sign though. It means the work has gone in there to make the update very good.

I enjoyed that one a lot myself. It was mass murder mayhem, a k/d ratio destroyer but a hell of a lot of fun.
The new maps will make up for it though.
The reaction to the new weapons will be very interesting.
Not much of a sniper myself but curious to check out the range on the new "crowd disperser". Its probably relatively limited.

I haven't played the game in a while, but I heard someone say that there are too many cheater/hackers in MC4. Is that true?

    In MC4, no.
MC3 was overrun with em but in this one, definitely not.
There are a few that get through the gates but they don't last too long because there is a lot of anti hack measures in place and anybody who slips through generally gets reported and every individual report is checked on and banned if they turn out to be a hacker.

Of course, hackers/cheaters will always hack/cheat but the anti cheat measures in this one are definitely the strongest Gameloft has ever had.

Plus its worth noting, they are beefing up the security in the update quite a lot and older versions with hacks won't get through.

As always though, always report suspected hackers. Their account will be checked and if any indication of modified files is found, they will be banned.

To be honest, those map look really sick. Like I can sense them quickly becoming one of my favorite maps even before seeing them.

I already knew that, it's either the lifeproof case(it's waterproof look it up) or the otterbox armor(waterproof and can stand 2 tons of pressure). I want to know whether or not the lifeproof plastic screen covering will affect gameplay a lot for those that already have a life proof case here. It's already been decided ill get the either of the two cases. The otterbox has a better screen protector but its more expensive and bulkier.

oh ok, thanks. I asked because I hadn't played the game in a while and when someone said that it sort of worried me. But I'm glad MC4 isn't hacker/cheater infested.

Yea the maps look really awesome.

I use the Otterbox for my iPhone 5, and it feels great! There's added girth to my rather light phone (not a big gripe, but I like a little heft to a tiny powerhouse), and the silicon wrap makes it feel far more secure in my hands than a plastic case.

Haha, exactly what I thought. I don't understand the gas mask though. Are we going to use biological weapons in upcoming update?

The new noobtube has a gas mask printed on it if that has something to do with it.

One more day to go, one more day to go!
(Insert appropriate "dancing a jig" image, Bruce Willis at end of The last Boyscout would be suited) :)

Gotta get me some frag on. And reclaim my leaderboard position :) (although that's probably impossible at this stage)

And every other weapon got a price increase too. If Can-dice is reading these forums, tell the person supposedly making the game better that they are making it worse by increasing the price of weapons and making it harder to get cash. What's up with that warfare game that just now another zone control???
