That's a Framerate issue. Try closing off other apps and see if your framerate gets better. If not, try another device. On the subjact of what LOL is saying, first off, Charbtek is not overpowered in any way. It's a dang SMG-Rifle mix weapon. The weapons are extremely well balanced, so really, yeah, get the hell over it. You're all sounding very childish and very COD-like in respects to gun balancing. Sorry to say that, but really, come on. Learn the guns.
I close off everything before I play usually, so no dice there... And I have no better devices.... Well, I guess I can adjust to being killed while in cover, then. Anyone have any tips on staying alive?
Think about this: when you press the grenade button you're sending the data that says that you tossed the grenade. But this data is sent when the grenade leaves your hand. The server will send that info to the other players, but since that information was made when the grenade-tossing animation was already ending, the devices of the other players start the animation of your character some frames later. The same also happens with the knife. I hope I was clear enough. There are two possible fixes for this: delete the beginning of the animation for the 3rd person models, which would look really awkward, or also make the data for the moment when the animation starts, but that would mean sending more data to the server = potential lag.
About the gun balancing, I think that the next update will balance the guns, therefore the guns are not perfectly balanced. Also most people use the two guns I commented before, so there's obviously a reason why so many people use them. Even in Mc3 I didn't find that situation. Shred+roar was enough for me, but OPS and KT44 were also cool. Anyway, I'm doing well using shotgun+tygr, so it isn't a huge problem for me.
I don't get it why the whining with the gun balancing? If you think a gun is op buy that gun and use it. It's not like you need to pay $5.00 to get a weapon. At this point it's plain stupid and just plain complaining.
I know. I'm also having problems with client-side hit registration, but at this point I'm just complaining. Still wondering how not every competitive FPS has server-side hit registration though (I guess it's cheaper not to?), as it really does help people with latency problems play better.
I don't know who you've been talking to, but I don't limit myself to just two guns. I have sniper, SMGs, vector, charbtek, compakt, shotguns, mamba and many more in my classes. All can hammer anyone if used right.
I need some help. I can pick up the semi-auto sniper off the ground and get a bomber with it, but I continually get outsniped by ARs using my bolt-action. Anyone have any tips on how to use the bolt?
Place your aim, fire and sprint buttons close to each others. Now just tap aim, fire and sprint in that order rapidyl That's a quickscope to you. Now before you do that, you gotta point the barrel at the enemy's upper body. But of course, at first you should start by camping in Alert and hardscoping. Once you figure out how to kill in scope with it, ONLY THEN start considering quickscoping. Learning to quickscope is a long process.
I try, but it seems every match I join there's some one noobtubing or compakt-ing. Even so, every once in a while I get a good match in, so I guess that's good. Oh, by the way, are you guys all on iPads?
I am back from ze dead... Do you guys remember me? Wasn't that posted earlier in the thread? Anyways, I missed a couple updates and was wondering if my choice of gun was the socars, is the compact good for me? Is it ok for hipfire? Also, what secondary is the best besides noobtube and Jolt, I don't like the jolt cus Im just a fail.
Compakt's better for hipfiring than SOCARS, if you get the right attachments. Secondary? I would go for Tygr. I don't remember if that's even a secondary, LOL.
