And the tactical holo bug needs To be fixed as well. It's the best sight in game, but that bug makes it difficult to use.
My God that update seems awesome... And laggy for me... Most excited for the new stuff, but from fixes I'm excited for sniper buff!!
Doubtful if its still in testing and it takes 1-2 weeks to get posted after submission. It will be after May. Hopefully sometime in June.
It should be coming before June, unless there's some major setback. How old is that tweet in the video?
Unless you directly work for Gameloft, you are speculating with the rest of us. Tweets from today indicate their submission process takes 1-2 weeks. Please indicate your basis rather than stating things as if they are true facts. Based on today's tweets and the ones from the video( about 2 weeks ago) it's virtually impossible it will launch this month . The slimmest chance is May 30. Also as of last week tweets that went out the game is currently in testing and QA is overloaded at the moment. If by chance it's submitted next week to the App Store we may see a late May release. Otherwise sometime in June seems much more likely. Hope I'm wrong.
I really wish gameloft would give a lot of small, frequent updates instead of massive, monster ones every couple of months, makes for a more streamlined experience and less frustration
It takes a while to make changes to a big game like this. It's just more time and cost effective to do one big update than lots of little ones.
Well all upgrade application submissions take 1-2 weeks. That's pretty well known by now. And its simply a numbers game in relation to the volume of stuff submitted for upgrades at any given time related to the number of people in iTunes connect (a lot) approving upgrades at any given time. December, for example, always is slower because of the sheer numbers of stuff awaiting approval. It is also possible to fast track some submissions depending on how crucial an upgrade it is or how strong the companies relationship with Apple is (and some other considerations such as marketing schedules and other things). Gameloft would have a particularly strong relationship with Apple. And as to whether JB is speculating or not, we're all sure he doesn't work for Gameloft (based on his very honest assessment/opinion of other Gameloft games he posts about). But that doesn't mean he doesn't know somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody who knows something solid about the intended schedule the upgrade is (was?) meant to take and the target release window. And he is kind enough to share some of what he knows with us. Of course, I would think his info has a solid basis (just from a relatively simple analysis of a few things beyond MC4) but of course glitches and hiccups during QA and testing are the usual things that mess up any release schedule. I'm gonna hang back and be optimistic enough to think he is right and that we will see the update during May. I think Gameloft have enough going on for June that they'd rather avoid a major update crossing over with some major (to Gameloft at least) new releases.
Understandable. I've been following the tweets of the official MC4 community leader which has proven to be very rich with info. Therefore I still don't think we will see it in May. That's what I'm basing my info from , maybe the same for JB.
I'm still using the Socar. ~86000 credits, but I'm not sure about buying the Compakt. Did GL say anything about nerfing it in the upcoming update?
I hope they'll release it soon. Right now all I do is trolling with the rocket launcher, since with the Socar I can't do anything. I start shooting before those guys with the OP weapons and I'm the one who dies. So unfair.
It turns out it isn't coming as soon as I expected. Use the time to amass credits and loadout slots. You should be doing find with the socars, what attachments you using? It's a long range gun with great handling and decent damage, does well with a silencer and on bigger maps like legion and alert. The CTS and holo sights go well with it.
