I'm not going to play until they fix the iPad-retina mess.

Thanks. So far I had been kinda busy (read:lazy and busy). My new gun guide will be out hopefully by monday.

So my clan are trying to make a small teamage. Working kinda well.

And Lolavi lost his iPod. Again.

I don't have an A5 device anymore but as I recall, a few people were having problems with poor framerate on the 4S.

A5X ( ipad 3) also doesn't run this game properly. I repeat once again:Both ipad 2 and 3 have never run MC4 100% properly ( I'm sure gameloft would be able to solve it removing some extra effects - those effects cause the slowdown/ lag ) The gameplay was only fluent on iPad4 ( before the update- now it's the worst device to play it).

Some ppl believe their iPad 2 or 3 run this game properly because they have never tried it on iPad 4 ( before the update ).

Oh well. What do I have to say.

    Iphone 5 FTW.

Edit: not as playable, but still pretty damn good.

NOT AS PLAYABLE - That's a difference man..
I can play on my ipad 2 or 3 but i will never be able to be as good as I used to be playing on iPad 4. Play the game 1H on Your ipad3 than use Your iphone again.. Compare Your scores...

Ok, ok. I'm out of this argument.

You have an iPad 2,3,4? Wow.

Only having played it on iPad 2, I haven't had the issues you're having for the most part. But also, I feel like I'm probably not getting the whole MC4 experience like you (pre-update) iPad 4 guys.

I HAVE noticed some lag though lately at times and slower framerate that didn't seem to be there before.

On ipad 2 ( and 3 ) that game works now exactly the same like before the update.

Seems laggy at times to me. But maybe it could be server issues.

What I wanted to ask you is:
Seeing as you have all of the iPads, what is the difference in feel and gameplay between playing on an iPad 2 and playing on (pre-update) iPad 4? Is moving, running, turning and ADS faster -- and if so is it by a lot?

On ipad 2 ( and 3) i could feel a slowdown ( especially aiming ) using the same settings for both ipad 2 and 4. It wasn't noticable when there was no enemy or a teammate in front of me. Lets say On ipad 4 i could get 30:3 (k/d) and on iPad 2 - 20:9. These are just examples.. I'm sure that slowdown is caused because of some extra effects that should be removed for older devices ( ex. Realtime shadows).

paulkolin86, that is good info to know...Especially seeing as it could affect K/D. This is why I admire how well LOLAVI has done on his older iPod Touch (hope you find it soon, AVI). I noticed that whatever I seemed to do, with some players I can't seem to aim or turn quickly enough to shoot them first. I'm not as good on the game as you are, but at this point I'm a pretty good shot with good reaction time and I had suspected I was being hindered by a slower device.

It's ok, though. Until I get an iPad 4 (or 5), I'll keep working at improving other aspects of my gameplay.

Well my highest kdr was 4.72 for pre-updated ipad4. I have played a little using my 2nd account and all i could get was 3.10.
Well i have 2 broken ipod touches ( 4th gen) i wonder what kdr I could reach using that device. I wonder how it runs the game.. And what kind of effects are disabled on it.
