Yeah, it plays really well with MC3 and NoVa 3. Fps games really shine with dual analog sticks. It is easier to play too. I wanna see if it gives me any advantage over you guys in MC4 cause I will need it cause I suck at multiplayer games. So looking forward to it when duo support comes. Just got the icade core yesterday, that is a blast too.

 

I hope it's better than the MOGA controller I tried out on an android tablet. It was so slow & laggy to respond to input. Hated the layout for MC
4, as well. Not much of a fan of using a six axis for gaming.

 

If its anything comparable to consoles, I'd kick so much more ass.

 

Dual analog support for blutrol on icontrolpad coming in a month, thats how i'll be playing it soon

 

The duo plays just as well as my xbox's controllers. Little ugly and boxy, but the functionality is sound. Makes me look forward to the day joysticks become popular on ios. My new icade core too is wonderful, great feel and look, but doesn't have the response like the duo does with it's wonderful dual analog sticks. Got one of my modded xboxes back too yesterday. Gotta play Halo on it and see how it compares to MC4 and Nova 3. So busy busy busy.

Yea, the Duo Gamer just reduced in price to $30. So pretty good if you like Gameloft games.

Yeah, I'll probably pick one up so I can improve my Xbox skills when i'm unable to play. In regards to this game, I really wish the fix the retina problems soon, as I don't want to play until it's fixed. BTW guys, PM me your Xbox gamer tags.

I have't been posting here lately. My compakt still isn't returned yet.

 

So, I had an interesting view. I killed someone with a shotgun, and noticed their hand with the the gun. Once the gun landed it turned yellow. Cool stuff.

 

Umm its always yellow so people can see it and pick it up.

 

I know, the fact that the hand bounced off and then when it landed, the gun model turned to yellow to be picked up. Sweet

And yeah, I know iPod users probably think the lag problem doesn't matter that much, but when I pay $600 for a tablet I want to be able to play an FPS at more than 20 FPS.

 

I'm sure you do and you have every right to. And every right to be mad. But I don't really know how to spot frame rates so 20 seems pretty high And playable. If I could see an example of 20 FPS then I could change my kind I guess. But it just sounds so high and playable lol

 

Ummm...no. Absolutely not. 30FPS is the minimum for a shooter.

I don't think you know what 20FPS feels like.

 

A few questions for any who'd care to answer:

On your devices, how do you prefer to position your controls on the screen? Do you use more than just thumbs? Do you use the gyroscope? I'm on an iPad 2 and I use only my thumbs when I play (no gyroscope). This is what my controls look like:
