Universal Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour - (by Gameloft)

I've played this game for almost 3 months with non-retina display and got used to it. What is more ...I was able to play it properly.. If they can't optimize it for retina resolution then they shouldn't update it this way.

Believe me.. Now it works better on my old ipad 2...

 

Same here. I got used to it and the gameplay was damn near perfect. Yes the new retina does look better but it's not worth the performance hit. I may just delete it, then plug into my mac and put the old version back and log back in since it saves everything. I just to refuse to accept this will be the end all. It's pure laziness since there are plenty if full retina games that run great. We are using quad core graphics! The real question is how long will it take them to fix this. I'm sure they could push an update out within days if they really wanted to.

I have been sitting on this game dying to play campaign over Airplay with gyro support... I beat MC3 over Airplay, time to beat 4

 

Im on iPad 4 and I have an immense amount of lag, it jitters all over the place. community manager said they had Retina set to ON by mistake and it should be fixed in next update. so in 3 months.

I cant believe they nerfed the ufia and not the charbtek.
they nerfed knifing and incendiary grenades, but not enough im afraid, they are still OP

The new guns are pretty good, I cant know how good though until the lag is fixed on my iPad.

And why cant i type Cand1ce, (I instead of 1) for some reason thats a banned word.

 

I haven't noticed any nerfing. Oh and compakt is like a more accurate jolt.

 

Where are you reading they left the retina switch on? And they should have left it on and optimize it like real developers.

I have posted on the modern combat website about this issue. Lost of complaints there. If they fix this it needs to be fast. Not on the next major update. They should push out a fix fast. Turn the retina off and put it back on the App Store. Ideally they should do their jobs as developers and optimize it since retina iPads have been around for a year now. Guess we will have to wait till modern combat 5 later this year.

That's right...
I can't play this game anymore...gotta wait for the update.. Ppl with older devices mastered their skills already. And with my high-end ipad 4 and the update I am not able to face them.

Nah but seriously, my kdr has lowered 0.4 already and it's down to 2.56 now. Mainly because of controls. As I had to remove this to get the update, I lost my controls so it's really hard getting them back to perfect. And the lag as well. So it's not just the new OP gun that is making this game hard for me ATM.

 

I couldn't care less about the OP gun normally, let alone now.

And yeah I had to redo my controls too. Sucks cuz they were perfect

 

Which is better the tygr x3 or the compakt-665?

Compact is better. In fact, it's better than any gun in the game.

I never considered the Charbtek OP, so yeah. Definately. Question is is it better than the UFIA.. And seeing as the Ufia was effing NERFED.. Yes. Yes it is.

This gun is the best at the moment. Without a doubt.

 

Still no retina for ipad 4 and no duo gamer controller support!
