The game has changed. Grenade launchers everywhere. Apparently a sale. I've actually done quite well. Last 3 matches 32-7, 31-7 and 33-3. Not that impressive on their own, but the fact that they happened in a row
I actually find the grenade launcher to be essentially useless and very easy to counter. There is one particular class where if you have the right round equipped and the right perk that it is very effective and extremely difficult to counter. (No I'm not saying which because I don't particularly want to see it used a lot) But in all other classes, its rubbish and noisy, too slow to reload, can't knife with it properly, too heavy, swap out to primary takes too long, have to aim like its a football so ads is no good. It's actually more of a hindrance a lot of the time. A mobile player will always get the upper hand in close combat if you have it equipped. It does have too much ammo though, so that does need to be reduced. Also, if you do come across it a lot, equip stealth explosive resistance perk along with a lightweight primary and secondary. You'll be protected from the explosion. The instant explode grenade wont hurt unless its a direct hit, the sticky wont unless its actually stuck to you (very funny sight I have to admit) and the delay one will be easy to escape because of the grenade warning and you're higher mobility weapons. And always keep an incendiary with you so that if they are close and take you out, you can take them with you. I personally like to shotgun those that have it. Purely for the satisfaction because the noise of it irritates me. I also find those that have it are never really watching their six so they are easy knife in the back targets as well because they can never switch to primary quick enough or get to knife you when they have it equipped. I think you'll it used less when they discover they are easily beaten. Edit. Oh I love my ops as well. It's range may be crap but its mobility and fire rate makes it a killing machine. Muzzle brake or sound moderator (the moderate stealth silencer whatever its called) are particularly good attachments on it depending on play style.
It has too much ammo and who cares if you can't do good with it? You'll still end up killing the enemy even if your kdr isn't good.
I did say it has too much ammo. And with armour perk, it won't kill you all the time anyway if you have room to move. I can still do good with it. I have all the related 1000 kills for the gun and ammo achieved with it. I just find no need to use it anymore after that because its real easy to counter it. That was my original point. I also did say that there is one class and perk that makes it very good but I don't see many using in that class at all. And yeah, I can tell class if its in the optimum class when its used. And then just use a class that beats that one. It's really quite easy to figure out. And it is after all mainly the top 50 leaderboard multi prestige players that I meet in bloody every match.
I love the damn Charbek, it's drawbacks are what makes it fun. It forces me to strategize differently than I normally would on the fly.
I use the UFIA and noticied that players who use VECT9 kill you first. Tried the VECT9 some days ago and yes its rate of fire is way better than the UFIA but I don't like the recoil of the VECT9. Back to the UFIA for me.Oh and I should play with the SOCAR again.
I love it too. For the sole reason of dismemberment of character models. I'm a bad person. Other than that... The speed alone makes me hate it
