I've played this quite a bit (prestiged once and now I'm level 15 or something). It's not much but my point is I have played it more than just an hour or two before passing judgement. I've used the Socar, charbtek, and UFIA with various load outs and I still haven't found any of them to replace the TZ4 compakt/prototype from mc3. I scan through this thread occasionally and tried some of the load outs mentioned here but I still can't find one that works properly. I do agree to the fact that I find this game frustrating because I can't pwn people the way I do at mc3 but that's not the only reason. And anyway, the way I see it, I play these games just for fun. I don't normally take games seriously (mc3 being an exception, just hit level 70) but mc4 pisses me off further with every game I play. There might come a time later when I get bored of mc3 and actually start to like mc4 but I don't see it coming anytime soon Edit: if they were to incorporate a system where you get xp and money even in unranked matches (at least 50% of what you get in ranked) I might start playing it again. Oh and don't get me wrong. I'm not saying this game is bad. Overall it's a really good game, and I liked the campaign on this quite a bit, but when it comes to multiplayer, although I think its pretty good, I find MC3 relatively better. Keyword being relative.
You can't compare two guns from two different games. It's like comparing angry birds to tiny wings. The fact it, and this is not an opinion, this is the most balanced of them all. Unlike MC3 where all players use the OPS, prototype, and the roar. I still agree that MC3 is beast, and I understand that you like it better.
Well, they're both FPSs for one and they're made by the same developer and they're both part of the same franchise so i don't think I'm wrong to compare the guns. Though I think it's better this way, instead of having similar guns under different names. In mc3 I've seen a larger variation of guns used though. I do agree that the majority stick with the prototype and roar but I frequently see ACMs, that big ass machine gun, the TZ4 and the obvious bravel and MC81 or whatever it's called. The latter two being used mainly by lower level players. Also, because the games work in the "unranked" way in mc3 I end up playing almost every game type frequently, so I'm never bored. I don't know if it's still the same way now but when I used to play a few weeks back, if you're not on TDM or VIP you pretty much enter an empty lobby. it's probably different now since there are more players I didn't want to post my opinion on this cause most of you seem to like it a lot but I couldn't help it when I found another user in the same boat Btw, killjoy, what's your gameloft ID. I just want retina or at least a resolution bump. It's not that hard, and for Pete's sake the game looks the exact same on an iPad 3/4 even though the 4 is twice as powerful. Not cool Gameloft. But hey, seeing as my only gripe with the game is in terms of graphics, that's a testament to how good it is.
I want retina, and although people disagree I would prefer to have knife, incendiary, and possibly Charbtek nerfed. The knife should be a knife, not a katana.
Knife range is the only thing that should be considered. Maybe incin. Grenades. But come on. Everyone can knife. And the nade is the only capable nade. We've been through the Charbtek
Yeah and I remember that the conclusion was that it doesnt have enpugh recoil for its firerate and damage.
You don't even have good enough reasons to back that statement up unlike Rip. I'm not saying it's such an overpowering gun, but I do hate how anyone can just mindlessly kill with it by just moving the screen around, because you still only need a couple of bullets to hit the target and he's already down. And it's actually quite a beast in ADS. Hipfiring is the only reason why I think the gun is fine. Probably has the game's worst hipfire though with the firerate and damage it's not even a big downside. I'm just saying, if some gun needs to be nerfed, it's that. I don't really care if it doesn't get, but man I still despise and hate that gun with a passion. Easy passage.
If you don't like a gun, don't use it. Knife is fine, maybe downgrade the range but don't make it a serperate button. Incendiary the only useful nade? Try sticky and stun. They're e only ones I use in fact.
I know, me too ^ forget I said anything. If anything needs nerfed on the incin grenade it's how soon it goes off. Other than that, if you dont like it, get over it. Nothing feels overpowered to me. You want my reasons? Read Rip's reasons.
