Playing the campaign right now with my earphones in. It's truly epic, I really should be getting some sleep, it's 2 in the morning. I am using the new iPad 4 and it looks like it is using full effects but no retina. Can't seem to find a toggle in settings for retina, would like to hear from someone else who has the new iPad.
Thank goodness E7 took the time to delete all that nonsense. In any case, this really does look like the number one FPS on the iOS. Performance on the 4th gen. iPod?! What a night for the iOS. About time it's December again.
Welp, time to clean the app house again to make room for this and all of the other fresh meat coming in. I love big game nights like this. Here's hoping someone with an iPad 2/Mini posts impressions. I seriously doubt it's going to look as good as the screenshots in the OP, but one can hope.
I think I'll be buying this for my iPad Mini when it releases. Does it have an integrated friend list?
They've really made an already silly device and purchase that much more sillier. So little support. Combat 3 never did get it either right?
No. But if the controller was $20 or drops to around that I would pick it up personally just to see how it feels.
Combat 3 did work with it eventually. I ended up taking mine back though. It worked, but compared to a console controller, I honestly felt like I was somewhat fighting the controller at times. The themselves sticks are too high IMO and they have too big of a dead zone. Even after messing with the sensitivity and aim acceleration, It always felt as though I fighting that dead zone and by the time I was out of it, my aim would be off. It's definitely not worth the $80 to me.
Damn no retina on Ipad 4, well how does it run without it. I would hope very smooth... I wish all games would just have a slider to adjust if we want retina to be on or off. Ever since Gameloft updated Asphalt 7 to retina its been pretty much unplayable on Ipad 4.
