Just had my first go on multiplayer over wifi and I have to say, it was one of the smoothest mp games I've ever played on iOS. Once I've got some practice in, I'm going to be on a rampage
And we all know water is the core element of every game right.... Dead trIgger might have unity water effects but that's about it. When your stuck in a 10x10 metre area you can sacrifice some gpu power for some pretty water.
Bummed about the gyro issue on the mini. Works fine in nova 3 and mc 2. I5 had no problems with gyro, but I want to play on a larger screen. Looks like I'm gonna hold off playing until an update.
Yeah it looks amazing on ipad2 , way better than MC3 .It seems that the latest gameloft games are tailored towards 4s/ipad2 .
Who thinks knife needs to be nerfed? I will be shooting enemies and they just knife me in the face. I really do love knifing tho, but range needs to be Nerf, it's really op. it makes anyone could knife people.
Hows it going, can someone please tell me the secret to aim in this game, how in the world can I aim and shoot at the same time, also how in the world is everyone so good at the game already easily aiming and shooting me in 2 shots? I never played a fps shooter on an Ipad before because I thought it would stink, sadly I was right because I don't for the life of me understand how you can aim and shoot at the same time with 1 thumb.
Any difference graphically speaking of 4S to 5 apart from the breadth of the widescreen vision!? For example more smoke effect or some light effect!?
For people that want ipad2 impressions : the game runs decently with full effects on ipad2 . Everything is present in this version, dynamic shadows, motion blur e.t.c. The frame rate in single player(i am not into multiplayer and will never try it ) is perfectly acceptable . It seems like we have another NOVA3 case .
Get some practice. It's not so bad when you get used to it, there's also gyro option. You can't expect to be great at everything If you don't practice. Everybody sucks when they play a fps on iOS for the first time.
How big is this game on an iP5!?? It says 1.44 GB on the App Store, I have 3.5 GB available and yet I'm still being told I need to make more room #. Kinda sucks...
If you are using an ipad, my suggestion is move the fire button to upper-right part of your screen, use your index finger to tap it and use you thumb to move your sight, it feels like using a mouse and allow you short burst fire while moving and turning. but you still need a lot of practice
Haven't played the modern combat series but I assume the controls aren't too different from the NOVA series... In which case how could you use a single thumb to shoot and move, I don't believe that would be possible. Moving forward and backwards, left and right is done on the left side of the screen (by default). If you want to readjust your aim while shooting then you hold the shoot button and drag in the direction you need to aim (Something that can be done while running)... Otherwise the rest is practice. But everything I've said could be a fail since I can't get to play the blasted game!
I have just realized the game has dismembering of enemies in it by clipping off a dude's head with a sniper shot. Wow
