It's pretty good. Just needs recoil reducing attachments. And AP rounds counter the nanofiber vest perk...
Destroys devices better, adds something in stats, I think either accuracy or damage. I also hate those ones which detonate like half a minute after impact.
Destroying devices... Well, one hot with my seconday (a bazooka) and bam... Thats why thats my secondary. Which one is better at close range, a auto shotgun or charbtek?
Charbtek, which is why it needs to be nerfed. If someone says it's not overpowered, then he's a really bad liar...
I suppose the ufia needs to be nerfed next? It's too mobile, its too accurate? Recoil is high on the charbtek. Counter measure. Crouch. Its accuracy when moving is poor. So weave. It's range is poor when using recoil anti measures. Counter measure. Don't get close. Nerf the charbtek and it simply turns into another ops. May as well just remove it altogether. If you're getting killed by it, you just don't know how to counter it. Even its mobility is brutal. A handgun carrying player could beat it by weaving in to knife you. Just don't get caught out in the open against it (or any primary) at medium range. And if you use it, check your ammo count when killing. It's not a one shot kill. Two or three actual hits anyway (I've counted). Even the kr200 can do it in one burst/three shots. Should that be nerfed as well? I'd simply rather not have to unload full magazines into a player to register a kill. Auto shotgun with the right rounds and attachments is far superior weapon at close range. Counter measure. Run away. Plus charbtek players are the easiest to beat tactically. Too over confident in their gun and never look behind themselves quick enough.
Just bought the jolt. I don't even want use my ufia anymore. It just rapes people's faces. Love this gun, it brings back the good times of running and gunning in MC2. Pretty sure this is called dominating
When all you need is 3 hits to kill someone, butter flying does absolute sh1t. Plus you are forgetting the fact you will very frequently turn a corner and run into a player, and basically if any competent player with a Charbtek sees you first, then you're done. Before I used the Charbtek my KD was 2.99, and almost 950 kills later my KD is 3.15.
If the Charbetek doesn't have a distinct advantage, why do 70% of players just run around with it? I'm sick of turning a corner a getting killed faster than anyone could react, likewise it's a hit-miss Charbetek vs auto shotgun at close range. That's not balanced. With the right attachments the recoil and accuracy are actually very good, anyone with google can look the right combos up. That gun just has to much going for it. IMO the fire rate needs to be turned down a tad, as well as making hipfiring about as bad as the Jolt or a little worse. Maybe about on the level with the Uzi, little better. While we're with balancing, the OPS needs a bump in damage, the Vect needs a higher capacity starter mag, the G18 gun is completely useless and needs a damage bump and a recoil reduction. The Jolt has a certain combo of attachments where there is NO expansion/inaccuracy in hipfiring; this needs to be fixed ASAP. The rocket launched needs to start with less rockets. The KR-200 is fine, as is the Ufia and Uzi. The nade launcher is about right, too. Most of these are just small niggles, though. Everything can't be perfect and the above is far from game breaking. The Charbetek is what needs some adjustments here and there.
Okay, we'll just go back to having to use full magazines to kill an enemy. If you turn a corner and a semi competent player has the first shotgun with explosive rounds, you're dead as well. Lets nerf that as well. Actually, lets just remove corners altogether. If only I could use a radar type thing and see through walls, I'd be sorted. Or if I had 50% more health. Or something that would absorb the bullets. Wait, ...there's a few perks for that. Nerf all them as well? If any weapon in the game is over powered, its the jolt. Should that be nerfed? Every weapon in the game can be easily countered. And lots of people use the charbtek because its the most expensive and the assumption is the best. The fact is that the ufia and jolt are the two best in the game and the toughest to counter. I don't see anybody wanting them nerfed funnily enough. Edit. And "butter flying" that was common in mc3 to avoid hits isn't what I was talking about. And swearing, whatever way you choose to disguise it, with numbers for example, is still against the rules.
Actually the R780 requires you to have 100% accuracy, and even myself with reaching the top rank in MC2, MC3, and 9th prestige in MC4 I only hit guy with my first shot about 50% of the time. Face it, the Charbtek is the OPS55 of MC4, the Jolt and the UFIA are the ACM. As JBRUU pointed out, I think there is a valid reason as to why 70-80% or the people I see with multiple prestiges use the Charbtek. As you may know, I a, aiming for 1000 kills with every weapon and attachment. So far I have 1000 kill with the Socars, UFIA, and Vect-9. I have about 950 kills with the Charbtek and ~200 kills with the KR600. All the while I have been using the Jolt as my secondary. I can firmly say without a doubt that the Charbtek is the most OP weapon in the game.
