Paul how do you know of the game is at 50 fps? Humans process stuff at 30-35 fps...
I use an iPad 2 and I feel it is at least 20 fps...

still not worth it. get nexus 10 or 7, so much more value. plus android doesnt restrict you at all, and they have faster processors and such. just a better value.

if you need it for hs, just get a computer

For school purposes I suggest an iPad 2. It's way cheaper.

I agree. I used my ipad for notes all through the school year.

Also I would invest in Evernote / Dropbox to keep your notes safe in the cloud.

everything by apple is overpriced/expensive. admittedly their products are great, but their just not worth the premium you're paying imo

iirc, ipad3 atm is 2 generations behind competitive android technology.ipad4 is a generation behind

its $600 for 32gb wifi version...you could a get a pretty nice computer for that kind of money

its definitely not cheap, and its definitely not "worth the money"

why would you buy an ipad thats already 3 generations old? just buy a nexus 7 -- its only $250 and its comparable to a $600 ipad 4 :L

The iPad 2 aged well.
Apple is well known for it's premium feel. Going into the lower tablet space is just putting their name down. Anyways compare a nexus 7 to that of a ipad mini
