"In the wake of a nuclear disaster, the only chance to avoid global devastation is in the hands of the few elite soldiers who must track down and rescue the world’s leaders from a frighteningly familiar terrorist group."

Hmm a familiar terrorist group, does that mean the Al-Qaeda or something?

    Wow...MC3 looks a lot better.

I guess the iPhone 4's limitations have finally been exposed. It was going to come sooner or later.

God i thought I was the only one who thought MC2's multiplayer was superior. It seemed more focused; more simple. MC3 had a bunch of stuff like a ton of grenade types to make things complicated. I still loved MC3 but I thought MC2 was that much better. Liked the story better too, but I'm probably alone on that one.

As for the photos...I still think MC4 will look better. As screenshots, MC3 may look superior, but you have to factor in the new dynamic lighting and vehicle stuff. Also, they used motion capture, so I assumed the animations will be more fluid. I have faith in Gameloft; their MC games haven't dissapointed yet...

Im just finished the game on extreme.
And will try a hardest difficulty.

My tips is, dont waste ur in game credit to buy attachments, boost.
Instead buy the health upgrade and the kevlar vest.

    Cheers=)

Same here. Mc2's multiplayer was funnier than MC4.

Just dropped in the thread to see this post, and I had to say I agree with you very much. I thought the MC2 multiplayer experience was vastly better, and felt MC3 had too much fluff especially for the small screen real estate of the phones and ipods. I kept MC2 installed for multiplayer while playing 3's campaign.

Although it's not my favorite genre it's pretty fun to play (on "easy", gyro control). Sometimes the screen goes black (sound mute) for ten seconds or more (loading time, first I thought the game is broken). And I needed some time for knowing how to pick up the gun against that anti aircraft (just tap on the name).

That looks awful. Why no retina support?

1 more hour! I want it now!

  16. Yeah, the screenshots don't look too impressive. Hopefully the framerates are totally solid, to compensate or something.

Guys, what devices are capable of realtime shadows? Also, how great is RTS? I played Bladeslinger with RTS and well, didn't feel anything great....once you're fighting, who cares about RTS, eh?

It does matters, especially for 3rd person type games... For fps, not so much

Playing it right now, sure doesn't look like retina res to me. IMO it looks more impressive on my s3 right now due to the smaller screen and native 720p res with all the same effects intact. It runs much better though on my ipad, like 30+fps most of the time.

I wonder though what advantage the ipad 4 has over something like an ipad 2. Better framerates?

Also, its funny how they keep advertising their new havok support but seeing its actual implementation really makes me smh. Everyone seems to do a flip when they die. Like seriously, are my weapons that high powered to make them do backflips when getting hit? Its like the devs did it on purpose just to show off their new ragdoll physics, just like how they tend to overdo a lot of effects in other gameloft games just to give that "console-like" visuals thing they love to throw around.

Wish they would do something about the animation in their games instead, or hire a good art director or whatever
