I think there should be a room for the the pros room for the hackers room For the noobs room for the noob hacker" and so on why not ya?
My thoughts exactly. ._. Perhaps he means what Max Payne (I think it was max Payne) did in its multiplayer. Or perhaps not and we'll never know. :|
MC4 confirmed: http://www.droidgamers.com/index.php/game-news/android-game-news/4557-the-gameloft-report-modern-combat-4-wild-blood-my-little-pony-and-more-coming-this-year
-Moar gunz/attachments!!! (Seriously, though, mc3 had a great selection; the more the better as long as they are balanced We need semi-auto rifles) -NO IAP: Its fine for the campaign, but you shouldn't have to buy each damn class you want to use, starting out with only one. Ideally for neither; it makes the game stingy with ammo (NOVA 3 anyone?). -Wave Mode or Zombies (Basically co-op. If GL is wokring on another co-op shooter then all power to them and don't put it in the game, but its something to increase the longevity of it) -No Currency: I think unlocking stuff should be based on skill/experience, not who has a the biggest ass wallet. -Contracts: I believe Jetpack Joyride started this, and Asphalt 7 adopted the idea. It encourages people to use different weapons and epand their playing horizon, and adds to that "just one more game" mentality. Its a really good idea if there actually will be currency in the game. Hopefully, if this is added, there will be separate campaign/multiplayer contracts so they don't overlap. -Better Blood FX: MC3 had cool splatters, but they were all the same. Just for variety's sake. -Attachments not limited by campaign levels. (In MC3, a gun in a campaign would always have the same attachment throughout a specific level, even if you picked up another version of the gun) -Don't encourage match delay (too much): Its a pain in the ass and one of the biggest reasons I quit playing COD. On consoles it makes sense, but for smartphones it seems like playing sessions are more frequent yet shorter, and as a result matches shouldn't be too big of a PITA to get into. -Different sized maps. TBH, I thought MC2 had some of the best maps of any portable FPS. Without any reference "mini-map," its nice to know where everything is. These maps were simple yet varied in their own way. If there are going to be bigger maps, as in MC3, add some smaller ones as well, for 2-4 player games, so it doesn't take hours to find people. -Consider class options: MC2 had a neat system for choosing a class; but MC3 had the "create-a-class" system. I say try both and see what works. -Keep it simple: As much as I love all sorts of cool gameplay mechanics, some things (addition of vehicles, too many types of perks/equipment to choose from) can make the game overwhelming and annoying. There's a fine line here; If all the perks/equipment are interesting, add a lot. Otherwise, only keep those that really add to the overall experience but don't change the game too much. Its better to have a less number of perks but be more balanced, for example then a lot where some are crap and others change the game too much. If I had a choice, explosives would be Either Grenades, C4, or Claymore-ish mines and Non-lethal would be either flash or smoke grenades. A lot of this stuff is just minor tweaks to the formula, because GL obviously already has a winner on their hands. The gameplay/flow in all 3 MC games to date have been absolutely fabulous. I don't think destructible environments would be a good idea; first of all its gunna make the graphics poorer becuase the system has to handle all of the data, not to mention the framerate; plus the file size will grow to an unbearable extent. I also don't want gameloft to try to limit the file size too much. If it comes at the cost of graphics or (even worse) framerate/overall smoothness, keep it big. I didn't think MC3 was too outrageous for what you are getting. Both MC2 and MC3 were excellent. I honestly preferred MC2 more for some odd reason, but both were so great. I think it has to do with the flow of the game; MC2 felt smoother and more fluid, probably because it was more fast-paced due to map size. I also appreciate the fact that gameloft adds something new to each game of the series, unlike SOME developers who have twice the time to add stuff yet only make minor tweaks to the formula.
tl:dr. Not in a douchy way, I just don't have time. But I read the part where you talked about contracts. MC3 does have challenges. For example: Get 1000 kills with a certain gun, there are lots of more though. Anyway, that gives you XP and motivation to continue
What i would like to see: -Cheaper weapons or more cash gain per match -Ragdoll physics! -Better stealth in the campain -Team commands in SP and MP -Co-op mode! -Bigger maps with vehicles -DONT MAKE IT FREEMIUM
So far most of the suggestions I have seen are for better graphics, more guns, more maps.. All of which are to be expected with the new game.
The ability to restrict certain perks/guns in a match by the host in the initial setup. That way I can stop ppl from using OP guns or, if NOVA 3 were to implement this, I could ban rocket launchers and, depending on the map, jet packs. That would make the multiplayer so much more bearable.
