Looking at the achievements multiplayer modes seem to be:

Capture the flag/King of the Hill
Conquest
Defuse the bomb
Sabotage
VIP?
And probably Deathmatch/Team Deathmatch

Let me know if I'm way off
Either way MC3's multiplayer will probably oneup MC2's
