I feel like this whole release thing has gotten too crazy. I'm just going to expect to download it Wednesday at 11pm or midnight eastern time. This is how most major iOS games get released. If it doesn't get released then, then I'll just wait a few more hours. Haha! Nice, I will definitely be checking TA!
I don't get why our store doesn't update at midnight like everywhere else. 4-5am seems like such an odd time.
I know right. I hate it. Does US get it before, or after Australia? Because I got a gift card from US and I want to get it it on that acc (US has $45 and Australian has $18). I thought 8PM PST was 4 AM in Australia, well according to a website.
Capped Internet makes it even worse... guess I'm going to have to get it on my Australian account, it takes three days to download on my slow Internet.
Begin the countdown. Each post from here on out has to state how many hours/minutes left until release. GO
I'm definitely more excited about other releases and I still have a decent amount of unfinished games, but I'm really looking forward to MC3 multiplayer. Doesn't the US get games before most of Europe?
2 hours and 21 minutes left for the NZ guys. Will be here about 5 hours and a half after that looking for impressions, heheh.
Okay, I'm sorry, but this is downright just sad. And don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my iPhone just as much as the next guy. As a matter of fact, I've owned every iPhone since its inception, with the exception of the 3GS. I easily play iOS games more than I do on my PS3 but to say you're bored with "the same old games"? Like what? Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Uncharted 2, pretty much all the Call of Dutys. They even have amazing PS3 minis. Joe Danger is one of the most fun games I've ever played. Again, I love iOS just as much as anyone, but you can't tell me that there is a game on iOS that is anywhere remotely close to having the depth, voice acting, graphics, LENGTH, etc. as what Arkham City has. And that's saying something because all the categories I listed have come an extremely long way on iOS. The graphics have become great, voice acting's gotten much better, even though it'll probably be a while before we see a game with 15+ hours of gameplay (and I'm not talking about Angry Birds type time here) To compare iOS with either of the two big consoles (PS3/XBOX) to me is just completely unfair to iOS. Oh, and you say the graphics are better than the PSP, but isn't that a little unfair? Given how dated the PSP is? Considering the Vita is right around the corner, I think that would be a much better comparison.
Excluding gaming,I agree that the iPhone 4 is a quality product (not the iPhone 4S(which horribly sucks))I do not want to start saying my opinions on it as I know it will start a flame war so please do not reply to my post saying something about the 4S. Agreed, hands down. Thank god, a rational person!
