So, are you the kid who takes his xbox, power supply and HD TV on the bus with him? I think I'd rather trust gameloft themself saying that MC3 is comming out this week than some random chineese/japaneese/whatever site saying it isn't.
Seeing that gameloft's twitter said 15 hours ago "Sorry, just a little while longer and you will know EVERYTHING there is to know about MC3 " and that this week they said "Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation will be released on #iPhone and #iPad on October 27th and on #Android in the following weeks" i'll wait for them rather than famitsu which may only say that based on the trailer with no release date or it could apply only to the japanese appstore. Anyway we'll see that in 17+ hours.
They seriously are so impressive, especially the second image, if it actually looks that good or even slightly off on my ipad2 then its a sure winner for me
When did I said that?I know iOS is portable but the posts which I listed are implying that they will be better than console games,No,I am the guy that will sell my iPod Touch 4g and buy a PS Vita and then take it to the bus with me.
Those definitely are some impressive comparisons. Hoping to see that on the screen. Awesome that all of Gameloft's games are universal now. Will be trying this on the iPad 2 when I get a chance as well.
The graphics have obviously been improved. Better colour and crisp images. When I see these images, it's apparent they don't need the unreal engine on their FPS games.
Not true. Totally depends on the game, I have easily gotten more entertainment out of some iphone games compared to some console games. EDIT: On topic the graphics look amazing for mc3! Can't wait.
It is made for portability but its predictable for you iOS fanboys to say its big, because that is the only thing you CAN point out.
I sold my ps3 earlier this year. Bored with the same old games. I haven't looked back since. No we won't get games with console graphics "yet". Maybe with the iPad 5 or so BUT the enjoyment factor is there. The graphics are better than psp now and all the fun factors are there. I.e. good single player, multiplayer, playability etc etc. Overall you get the console quality with slightly reduced graphics (only slightly reduced in some cases) for a much cheaper price. Can't wait for this. Staying up late tomorrow!
The only thing? There are many advantages iOS devices have over the PS Vita. Prices of games is one major advantage.
.... Chase has some good points too though. The PSP Vita is downright awesome. Some of the games look amazing. So lets give credit where credit's due. Also have to give credit to iOS. For affordability in games, the variety, and now the games are looking incredible. So many major games coming to iOS now and in 2012.
I re-downloaded MC2 just to get some action in before the release of MC3. I remember saying to my friends 12 years ago that one day, half-life like graphics would be portable on something like a game gear. Absolutely amazing how far iOS has come in terms of the quality of mobile gaming.
I think we're past that quality of graphics already! I'd say iOS graphics are somewhere between 2003 and 2006 PC graphics.
