Yes? There is alot more detail in the enviroment and other objects, higher draw distance, better animations and better textures. (and maybe some other things, but these are the main points)
That would be funny but of course not. The point is whatever you might think in a pure objective way it has improved and that's a fact. Now if you don't find it as beautiful as you expected that's another problem. Personally i think that a more beautiful and polished version of mc2 is a great thing.
I said that the graphics of MC2 are good, which they are. Not great, and certainly not the best, but above average for an iOS FPS. And I said that as an overall game, MC2 is still a great game by today's standards. It might not have graphics like Infinity Blade, Shadow Gun, Warm gun etc, but the smoothness and quality of gameplay more than makes up for the lack of amazing graphics. But yeah, MC3's graphics do look significantly better. Only one more day to go, I can't wait
heh, I just noticed something: You know how shadowgun had these explosion ripples (well now they have the actualy explosion as well, but it still doesen't look verry good)? Well in the trailer, at the part where the palyer shoots the rocketlauncher the explosion has ripples too (and looks pretty decent)
I thought iOS had "better than console games",Isn't that what you people said in this thread:http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=1931065#post1931065?
Forget about chase. He's been in other amazing game threads saying stuff like this. He claims he's not a troll, but that's exactly what it is. Even if 1 guy is too blind to see the difference, other few million will. Let's move on cause I'm frickin' excited!!
lol, has anyone seen the tags on the trailer? I think gameloft was having some fun: Update: they changed it
and in my case: Wish we wouldn't have to learn for a maths test on friday and wish we had the money to buy the tin tin game.
To be honest I'm pretty annoyed that Gameloft rehashes MC2 and bumps the textures a little, mixes up the environment a little and poof! Another 6.99. Why can't gameloft be the first to actually make a kick fps using the unreal engine? I'm sick of gameloft graphics and the empty and hallow feel of their games. Too bad warmgun blew but look at gameloft and tin tin. They are doing some great stuff there but here it's pretty much the same game. They blew march of heroes and now are just appeasing the crowds. Maybe I'll be wrong and this game will be amazing and hack proof
I know some of Gameloft's games are very generic but in the case of Mc2 and soon to be Mc3, they are an exception. The graphics aren't generic but are actually very good. Mc3 looks amazing. The unreal engine is nice but not necessary. Why do you think March of Heroes was cancelled. Gameloft had huge problems with the unreal engine. The engine for Mc3 looks great and it will be a kick a@# game ! So I'm more than happy to dish out 6.99 or whatever ?? for the best game on the iOS market
All my midterms this week + papers due. Not even going to be able to try MC3 or any of the other games I get tomorrow night until the weekend. Maybe I'll squeeze in enough time to play the tutorials. On top of that, I've spent a TOTAL of one hour on the NINE games I paid for last week combined. College is blowing.
It still meant the same thing even though he said "some" in his post. And one person also said:"many iOS games surpass console games." "Amazing games"nuff said.
They weren't wrong. Point me towards a NEW console game under $10, and I'll guarantee you 100% that the iOS game that costs the same will be infinitely better. When you convince the iOS world to drop $50-$60 per new release instead of $0.99-$6.99, then we'll hear out your complaints. I don't know what you're expecting for something that costs less than a day's lunch.
You would not get the same amount of entertainment in $0.99-$6.99 title than a $50-$60 console title, its just impossible. The way I see what TouchArcade forums are:you have to complement each and every "hardcore" game otherwise, you are going to be referred to as a "troll".
