if anything the 4 times less pixels and same amount of RAM makes the 3rd gen faster. The graphics will be worse, but the game will run smoother.
it really depends on what the application needs. If it needs CPU power then the 4G is probably better, otherwise not so much
The iOS games I'm looking forward to this year: Modern Combat 3 Fara Max Payne GTA 3 Paper Monsters Shadow Sun Forgotten Memories (if it ever releases) And hypothetically: Nova 3 Real Racing 3
It is a bad thing. Remember 2 years back? We geeked out of every game the hell out. Now I have many great games installed on my device. I know they're great games, but Im not playing it, because I have a better game installed. But on the other side it's a good thing, because devs have to compete and you have a big variety of games to play.
Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation hitting #AppStore October 27 (From touchgen's twitter, multiplayer hands on coming soon)
Six Guns, Gangstar Rio and Modern Combat 3 multiplayer hands-ons coming up 1 hour ago via twitter @Touchgen So i'm assuming that's today

Here's all of the seven modes translated from that screen (i'm french so it's not that hard XD): Deathmatch Team Deathmatch Capture the Flag Manhunt Ground Control Destruction Disarm the bomb
