There will be multiplayer (not only was that said on some sites, but come on, why wouldn't they?), but I'm quite sure you won't start at a higher level. It would be unfair for all the other players. So you'd like to have a buggy game now, and not a polished game soon? gameloft commented with this two days ago on the trailer for the game btw:
You could always make holding the crouch button go into prone. Yes, I know that didnt make sense, but you get the point.
Oh please, gameloft, don't make the game laggy on iPod touch 4g. If it lags, Just lower the graphics and give us awesome multiplayer performance. Modern combat 2 had great performance, and I hope you guys do the same to mc3. I'm worried that it will lag, because lagging is worded than low graphics, it ruins the gameplay.
Yeah.(warning: What I'm about to say might sound stupid!) But I'm having bad performance sometimes. Is it cause of poor connection, cause sometimes that has happened too. Like the players are moving fast I'm shooting long time at them suddenly I'm dead and the player is far away.

on the last Touchgen podcast (from last sunday) they said they'd get to play the multiplayer pretty soon, so I guess we'll see some previews for that in the not-too-distant future!
Well there's no possible way it will be as bad as warm gun! I can't wait for mc3 they at least care about there'd games
Even if this game turns out to be terrible (wich I highly doubt), we'd atleast get a decent amount of content (singleplayer/multiplayer with 6 modes & leveling system ... )
