I agree, and also I like it when a bit of humour is injected into a thread, so long as it doesn't take it over- ie the topic gets back on track after a few posts.
You take away the drifting off topic, and well everybody will leave. These forums are both fun and informational, so you'd just take out the fun, and the avg. 200 people online will go downhill to about 50. Which may not be a bad thing. That and making sure that the new mods don't let the power go to their head.
Hey Arn, I'd like to see wastedyuthe as a mod. If he wanted to. He already has proven his objectiveness and is fair to everyone.
There are too many hotheads here lately(myself included) and just yesterday yuthe was involved in diffusing an overextended character asassination. By the way yuthe we did finally stop and I issued a public apology to him and things were finally squashed.
Well I'm pretty sure that Wastedyuthe also has the most posts of anybody on the forum, so that is a credential in his favor.
Yes but the majority if not all of wastedyuthes posts are relevant to the thread, something you obviously dont understand.

Maybe. I don't know anything about it, but still there needs to be about 10 mods to patrol these forums and lock all these threads.
Why lock all these threads? Look, this forum is so cool, and going offtopic is just a part of this forum. I don't like forums with all their fancy rules, (ok, rules are necessairy, but...) Just, don't make the feeling of the forum go away please But I'm sure arn will think about this right... arn? ^^
I agree too. I think wastedyuthe would make a great mod. I think he's definitely more mature than most people on TA and like someone said, he's fair to everyone.
