I'm really finding it difficult to put my feelings into words because while the game started off linear for about the first 10 minutes, I've bumped into so many people who all need me to meet certain requirements to carry on and the game may have just won my heart in a way that I have not felt in a very, very long time. Yes, it's not perfect. You can tell right off the bat that this isn't a AAA production, but at the same time you can also feel that this is a labor of love. The writing's not gonna win any awards...sorry, I know this is disjointed. It's 2:20 AM and I need to get some rest...you won't give a damn about any of the game's shortcomings when you're enjoying playing it so much. The battles, as mentioned, are turn based. They're not super hard to describe, but my brain's not functioning properly now. They're definitely the selling point here and it doesn't take long for the difficulty to ramp up. There's certainly much more than meets the eye with the game and I know my impressions aren't really helping, but let's just say that if this looks like something you would enjoy, don't hesitate to drop a fiver on it. Once you get past the first 5 minutes, fall in love with the fighting mechanics and the music, you'll have the same feelings you did when you played Swordigo for the first time. It seems to be a very special game and I hope my instincts are right. Oh, and it's very pretty and is 362 MB installed. For a game like this, they should make better UI instead use the default UI from the engine itself, along with the font type too heringer Well-Known Member Oct 2, 2011 807 0 0 #9 heringer, Aug 13, 2015 The story is about an evil wizard who stole the shadow of every character in the game! speedyph ððððððððâ¡ï¸â¡ï¸â¡ï¸ Feb 3, 2013 372 1 18 #10 speedyph, Aug 13, 2015 i missed this one u have it it is it any good ?### jpgold Well-Known Member Sep 21, 2012 1,818 56 48 Online Ad Sales - Pandora New York, NY #11 jpgold, Aug 13, 2015 Well that just completely sold me sapphire_neo Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2011 3,934 0 0 #12 sapphire_neo, Aug 13, 2015 Haven't been able to put any real time into the game but it seems incredibly promising! A really fun fighting mechanic and so far a great little game with enjoyable visuals and well designed characters (bit too much rayman at times, but it works). Only the fonts need redoing to make this really great. jpgold Well-Known Member Sep 21, 2012 1,818 56 48 Online Ad Sales - Pandora New York, NY #18 jpgold, Aug 14, 2015 I'm typically not a fan of turn based games and enjoy more "real time" action based games. The combat system for me is my favorite part. Turn based and unique. The combat Reminds me some of child of light on the Xbox one.Game looks good, I would love to see the combat system in a more realistic game. Metals initial impressions seem right to me. Worth the cost for sure. I'm not very far yet but good initial impression. I can see it is opening up some as I go. Mix of ocean horn and a jrpg in some ways. Fun.
