F2P still can be powerful This is my first time ever making a video of me playing; this is the Japanese version in its current state. I'm 100% F2P (Free-To-Play), and I have spent a total of $0.00 on the game and started playing from DAY 1. Like I've said in the beginning, F2P players still can be powerful without the woes of a paywall. Don't let the FREEMIUM mechanics of the game discourage you; this game offers more balance than others.
What in holey hell are you fighting! And what level is your team and you? Also what is the optima change? Not out yet in the us it seems
I don't remember if you have to use any of your stamina for the shrine of trials. I want to go but my stamina is all used up right now.
I seem to have some pretty good maxed out cards for my ranger. I've spent a bit more time with this and have to say that I like exvius better. I enjoy the characters better than cards, I like being able to explore and find hidden areas, better story and more sense of accomplishment from leveling up.
Just finished the story (Ch1&2), and unlocked Knight Class (from the original onion knight) just a few minutes after. Not bad for a free game, and this was my first solo FF title. Been used to party based FF titles, and this was pretty refreshing and quite enjoyable all throughout. I finished the game already, but im willing to throw in $18 one-time to thank SE for that when the next chapter comes. For something totally free (i spent zero yet) i had much fun.
Like yourself I enjoy the character collecting a bit more than ability collecting but the more time I've put into Mobius the more It's really growing on me. If Mobius had the exploration from Exvius it would be hands down my favorite F2P Final Fantasy game. I enjoy both about evenly although my first couple of hours playing I did prefer Exvius. I agree. What kept me hooked was how cinematic the combat was for me and not just visually. A couple of the stages I was on the brink of death early, thinking I was going to die for sure, yet I pulled through with help from Echo and some very good luck. Very excited about playing future content.
Well, after deleting it I kept seeing the ads all over TA, and I decided to redownload and give it another try. It was nice hearing that my initial impressions were shared by TA and AS in their podcasts. But, while watching TV this weekend, I admit that just going through some levels over and over, it does scratch that itch for grinding I have. Whoa. That doesn't sound clean. Anyway, I still miss the exploration. And the only bit that they introduced in the first couple hours was allowing me to run up some stairs after talking to the moogle. But the battles feel natural, despite their complexity. But the menus and leveling up is still more complicated than I'd like. What I didn't realize is that stamina was going to really play a part. The whole tutorial, stamina didn't play a big role whether it wasn't depleting or whether I was leveling fast enough to replenish. If stamina doesn't matter because you level fast enough, why bother having it at all? I still don't see why SE feels the need to keep having this in their games. I don't like to put money into games that can limit my gameplay. So, the stamina hinders whatever sales they could have had from me on all of their F2P apps. Honestly, the more I can play a game, the more likely I would be willing to buy something in it. Tell me there's a limit to my gameplay, and whether I see it or not, I don't want to financially support the game.
I just noticed there is a calendar along with some tip links at the bottom of the info splash page, when you first boot up the game. Seems they have some stuff lined up for this month and next. Bikini clad echoes soon! ####
Hey everyone. I wanted to ask for some help with strategies - So I'm using the Mage for my fights, and I'm using my ability cards which are now maxed out. I'm enjoying the fact that the maxed out ability cards are drawing in many skill seeds but I'm wondering if I should purchase new ones and continually swap them out and level them up too. If I do that, I imagine I'd need to teleport back to some of the earlier areas so my Mage doesn't get wiped out on some of the higher stages of chapter one. Any suggestions?
All levels in chapter 1 is easy so it's not necessary to switch and level new cards before challenging the last few ones. It's best to finish it before leveling new cards as it gives you a new level cap for all your cards every time you complete a chapter. There's a way I use to farm skillseeds and level cards quickly with Mage: Switch to hard mode in config to get highest difficulty bonus skillseed multiplier. Go to tomekeep in chapter one, switch your deck into 1 healer and the rest cards you want to level up or ones with higher skillseeds you need. Then pick any fire 4stars mage card that deals cone or area damage as rental card. Farm 1st or 2nd floor easily with rental card. Works best as white Mage since you have a healing ultimate skill. This method is only possible after completing first chapter though.
