The video is mental I have no idea what’s going on, I’ll have to look for another video. Do you just fling the guy around like in Ordia but as a platform game? Like that witch one whatever it was called? Unfortunately, my battery decided to hit 5% when my download was done, so I have absolutely no impressions. Hell, I haven't even fired it up yet. I'd be willing to bet the large file size is probably cutscenes or something. ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,759 990 113 #6 ste86uk, Nov 11, 2020 That sounds likely from what I’ve read, seen that it has a lot of story and cutscenes. Some people seemed to love it and some hated that you can’t skip it. But it sounds good to me. I just bought it so will look forward to checking it out on my lunch break tomorrow. I thought it was a proper platformer but it seems more Angry Birds style catapulting kinda movement ? Or is that just part of it. Give me a left/right and jump button anyway please ! metalwastebasket Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2017 161 55 28 #14 metalwastebasket, Nov 13, 2020 Left and right is in. Jump button won't work. The entire concept of the game is built around slingshotting. If you’re interested, I’d definitely recommend picking it up. Astray does an incredible job of creating immersion through its fantastic backdrops, excellent sounds, and really cool enemy interaction. The controls work well and there is support for controllers (which I just might try for once). I love how you get snippets of the past and can learn about your enemies through mind reading. Awesome stuff. After that I was sucked in, the screenshots don’t do the game any justice at all as it is beautiful and you do feel very sucked in. I’m really loving the graphics and whole atmosphere and when I looked at the screenshots I honestly wasn’t blown away but as I said they don’t do it justice. The gameplay is very good and I feel like it’s getting very clever already with mechanics and how the game works and it’s been a joy to play. Although I did start thinking this is one long level! When does it end?? Turns out I’d done a few levels and I just didn’t know it, I’m guessing the elevators are the start of a new level? I’m also wondering how you know if you collected everything on a level? With the memories and when it says like 3/5 on that brain picture. How do I know if I missed any or what level to replay? Looks like each level has some icons near it one looks like maybe deaths? Not sure on the other on what they mean. Anyway TLDR: Beautiful game, screenshots don’t do it justice. - just buy it, it’s very good and highly recommended. squarezero likes this. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,121 697 113 #17 anthony78, Nov 15, 2020 Just a word of warning. I had some weird issue where the App Store would say I needed to update it even though I already had. Kept updating and it wouldn’t go away. So I went to delete it to see if it had iCloud. It told me it did. Deleted it and redownloaded and the update issue was solved but I lost all my progress. So iCloud is not working on this game. metalwastebasket Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2017 161 55 28 #18 metalwastebasket, Nov 15, 2020 Did you first upload your save to iCloud? It's the manual (superior) type of iCloud support (like with Chrono Trigger). orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #19 orangecan, Nov 15, 2020 Absolutely loving this, would have missed it I think otherwise. Think it’s the name that just didn’t really drag me in. Not sure why but very glad I took the plunge because it’s really really good. ste86uk likes this.
