    MLB.com at Bat 2009

    9.99

    http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=309327900&mt=8

Screenshots will be added when they are available on appshopper.

This program lasts fro the entire 2009 season up until this year's World Series. You will have to buy the 2010 program for next year season.
This year at bat includes Gameday Audio. You can listen to every game and chose from the home or away team announcers.

    They listened to us!

Hah, I was just checking for this earlier, Thanks.

9.99 is a little steep though,

but it has gameday audio, gameday audio used to be 12.99 by itself. if it didn't have that, it would be questionable, with it, its a good deal. i spend a lot of time on the road sometimes out of broadcast for my locals and not to mention my redsox so this app is perfect for me.

If I had an iPhone I would buy this app in an instant, but with a Touch it doesn't seem worth it to drop $10 on it...

True that. And I wish they had a Hockey app like this. Come on NHL, what are you waiting for? So I could listen to the B's games when Im at work/school.

On a side note, I would love MLB, NBA, NHL to add streaming of games in an app and they could charge like a subscription so I could watch the games as well. It would rock!

there has been talks of this, however it won't happen until the cable and sat companies renegotiate extra innings packaging. I think this may happen as early as next year. When the agreement was made, it was only between cable, sat, and mlb.tv. This wouold be another outlet of the media and the cable/sat companies will want to buy extra innings for cheaper since there are more ways to get it.
