$2.99 is a steal, sad to see it this cheap but I know Mission Europa has a good run with premium pricing. The developer's upcoming Dungeon Keeper style sim looks amazing too.
Ditto. It's a huge game with a lot to enjoy that got dogged for it's graphics and difficulty. The dev is a nice guy and was very active in the heyday of the app - emailing bonuses to people playing the game, it was great. Game atmosphere is spot on. If you can look past the graphics (remember it runs on a 2nd gen device!) and are up for a challenge, this is a great first-person RPG/shooter with a ton of customization options to play with, and highly recommended by me.
One of the best iOS games I've ever played. 50+ hours of fantastic, deep, atmospheric gameplay. I got the game at full price and it was money really well spent. For $2.99 this is a fantastic deal. I would really like to see more iOS RPG games that offer this level of complexity.
Damn chicken sh*t!!! Just my luck to not have iTunes credit in my account right now!!! D: How much space does this take up uncompressed?
Yes. Mission Europa is primarily a first person shooter. Any claims of being an role playing game are based on a high level of equiptment customization, a skills hierarchy, and depth of plot enriched by exploration. To me Mission Europa is barely a RPG and much more about fast challenging first person shooter action although the RPG trappings keep things interesting. Shoot first, make detailed character customizations later. If customization and character development are not your style then you can ignore these features and just run 'n gun missing out only on more finely tweaked better equiptment.
The creator did a pretty in-depth intro/tutorial video for those who want to get a sense of the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HL8oOACPY7Q&lr=1
