I somehow found a teleporter to level 10... but still have not killed the level 9 boss. Was this possibly a loot drop?
If you do not have the warp skill and touch that levels warp portal then you get that skill \=) Will be on blog most of the day again.. I need to finish the arena rewrite to get to the stability... then Update 1 will ship... after that we start adding fun stuff with fixes =)
Tried this and just ended up selling materials. Maybe I did something wrong? I also don't seem to get crazy values for leveled skills that people hav reported...
Does anyone know the exact effects of the weapon stats Draining and Vampyric, and their related character stats (Drain and Thirst, respectively)?
People shouldn't be posting game exploits anyway. It's distasteful. Ryan has worked hard to make this game a well-oiled machine and I'm sure he doesn't want people posting all over the internet on how to cheat and take advantage of loopholes in his game. Put yourself in his position please before posting things like that. (The findings may be better off sent in a PM to him?)
Yikes! And here I thought I was a fairly big supporter of this game. I don't think Ryan's going to lose any sleep over me cheating a few thousand credits out of the store. Hardly game-breaking, and will be patched soon. And the link to his original post is just a fee post back. I bet he'd even remove it if Ryan asked...
Drelbs you didn't do anything wrong and I'm sure you're 200% correct. I'm not trying to be forum police, I guess it was more of a general post. You just happened to be the victim of a requote, sorry bout that.
I'll agree the integrity of the game should be respected, but I don't think Ryan minds so much. He loves hearing about peoples unique experiences, and finding a glitch like the material one, or the no cool down one I found aren't doing any harm. It's better people talk about it so it can be fixed, than keep it to themselves and exploit the system for an advantage in the arena or something.
I admit being pretty skeptical about this game at first. Bad graphics, obscenely high price (for an indie iOS game), no universal or GC support, no proper lite version, blah, blah, blah. I was wrong. This game rocks !!!
I could really use a better indication of when I get shot/am close to dying. For some reason in this game I never feel like I truly know how close to dying I am. Maybe a flashing health bar when it gets to low along with a key indicator sound? Maybe a bit of differentiation in the visual cue as I get confused with that and the times I go into rage/chain ect. Dunno..... Also one thing that would be awesome, is on my Ipad I use those Fling joysticks, but the walk circle is a bit to large to fit inside the Fling's design. It would be great if I could make the "walk pad" slightly smaller to fit in the Fling's design. Just a "pie in the sky" wish there though. Haha!
This always confuses me also, you're not alone. My Doomsday will be attacking and I'll be around the corner safe. Then my screen starts flashing red and I hear hit noises so I look up, thinking I'm getting creamed, but it's just my Doomsday activating my passives. It's really grown on me, but let me ask, what kind of warning would you get if you're going to be killed in one shot?
