I had this happen with my 1.5 doomsday from Doom. I couldn't actually do them separately first though since it was a 1.5 doosmday. I'm not sure if it is a bug or intentional though.
Hey all working my butt off... But combining does not = 1 + 1 = 2. Each point is 0.25 towards the new one if I remember right...I would have to look at the code to see how it combines again... It is not a 1+1 . but a staggered increase... I did that to keep the Arena playable.
1 + 1 = 1.5 The problem is when you combine two skills that are both upgraded. Let's say I have a 1.5 skill and someone sends me another 1.5 of the same type. What I end up with after combining is a 2.0 skill, while it seems that it should be a 2.5 as it would be if I had all four skills and combined them separately. 1 + 1 = 1.5 1.5 + 1 = 2.0 2.0 + 1 = 2.5 Hope that explains the problem.
Based on the activity in this topic I'm afraid that ME interest has gone way down. Hopefully the official forums are more active. I haven't been able to play for a few days either and may never finish, but it has been quite fun.
Yeah, I'll admit i haven't been playing ME as much. Too many new apps and updates. I really would like to play more, but it gets harder with too little time.

Had a similar problem just before the end... Just couldn't beat the thing... After a while I just stopped as I felt I couldn't get past it... Then revisited the game last weekend and now have finally finished it... Still didn't manage to get the 4th column done though... Maybe if all those experience points would have actually counted and not be stuck at 600402 pts... Thanks Ryan for making this game! I had a good time! D.
same i skipped after about 30 deaths, couldn't get close to beating it its one shot each time 12653 damage
I am here.. just REALLY REALLY busy the last two weeks... argh.. I need a time machine or a clone or something... making great progress on the next game (Follow on the blog!) Thanks for the kind comments they really make the effort worth it =)
The next game? Awesome, that should bring more players onto this one as well! Oh, how about organizing some event (a time) so that several people will be on the arena at one time. Heck, I could make that if you wanted me to? *Creates clone*
Um when's the next update for ME? Or was the last one the last? Again, I'm still stuck at the defense bot quest. Don't wanna skip, can you nerf it?
I would be interested in that. Could be hard though. Some people on here are across different time zones.
