Yeah, I haven't fought in the arena yet because there's never anyone 10 levels from me. Hopefully I can get in there now without the level restrictions.
Just went against a level 30 in the arena, it went something like this. I attacked with my shotgun, he attacked with his chain gun, I snuck around behind him and pumped like 4 shots into his back doing a total of about 2 damage, then he summoned banshee I tried to run, I got hit and lost 350000 hit points out of my total 197 health EDIT: When against him again and nearly the same out come although this time I lasted much longer and he only killed me with a measely 50000 hit
I know I thought I did pretty good EDIT: HAHAHAHHA I beat a motionless Doom in the arena!!! Not much of a battle since he stood there motionless and was probably off doing something, but none the less I beat him!
All up to apple I submitted it a week ago almost.. The process is gather data, create patch, submit to apple, they review for a week+, after release repeat =).. Glad to hear Arena going.. maybe we can finally get some feed back to improve it =)
Well I think that my character should be invicible and do 2000000000000% more damage but only my character
@Ryan Arena could do some stat tweaking to make up for level and gear differences. Like lower lv players doing more damage and have higher health etc. I've seen Dungeon and Fighters pull it off pretty nicely. Low lv players able to 5 hit ko (burst damage) players double-triple their level, while high level players does much less damage but make up with a bigger variety of skills (thus more dps, in theory).
Nice game..... you thought I played this game 10 times and didn't save some skills....? Hehe...I did have a level 30 guy one shot me a bunch tonight....kudos to him Arena is awesome opened up Ryan....nice idea
I won't go in the arena with level 7 weapons. I'm level 19 now and the game probably has a .001% chance to drop Legendary weapons, which means they never drop. Apparently no one else is complaining about their terrible drop rate, so it's just my bad luck I guess. On top of that, 8 deaths to the Horde King now and his heat seeking one shot through walls laser = instant death. Oh and his Banshee seems to hit me no matter where I'm at. Good times!
