I'm 33 and the small peek of ME to setup my online account really made me excited. Bugs be damned! I will definitely wait for first patch to hit before playing. Lots of other games to try to get through anyway. ;)

That is cool about it being in the lead for GotY in the forums. At this point Perfect Cell is my favorite iOS game, but there are a lot of games I haven't played, including ME.

Damn, beating Level 9 is hard. Enemies are eating up my armor like cake. Ah well, gonna keep trying.

I'm somewhere in between these two. ;)

Time to form M.E.G.A.! (Mission Europa Geezers' Alliance)

As the older (gaming) population, we should get discount cards for in-game purchases in ME!

I meant to draw up a cool 8-bit Drelbs sword at some point, but Ryan if you want to create a bloody "Walker of Drelbs" (Dr. Elbs' Walker?) I'm all for it! :D

Ya know, i kinda miss Bullfrog. They had some decent games like Dungeon Keeper, Theme Hospital or Theme Park. A former employee of Bullfrog brought us the great puzzler Tilestorm for iOS a while ago.

I am gaining on you all...don't stop getting older!

Really looking forward to the update. I am going to have to beef up my armor before I can take on the likes of many in this thread, however!

Love you Doom ! And everything you've done towards this game. You're a top class hero sir !!!

@Ryan ... So glad you like the idea of adding a bonus to complete armour sets. Just a little something for us completionists ! It would add so much to my rabid frothing addiction to this game.

I agree, adding a bonus to a full armor set would be nice. Will it be possible to use the heads from the Arena in Single Player too?

I just wanted to let everyone know, 37 years young here and over 2500
    minutes invested.

I'm really enjoying this "child based, unpolished, pre-teen, unfinished, beta,
    fanboy, immature player driven
" product that's beating all other games for
Game of the Year 2011 on Touch Arcade.

I'm consciously able to "read" and have done so through the thread,
realizing the "one man claimed developer who apparently constantly brags in
every post about how amazing his one man project is
    " has already addressed
some of the initial launch problems and patched them, waiting on Apple.

Also, with this amazing ability to "read", without criticizing, demeaning or putting
down other TA readers in a childish schoolyard manner, (showing my true age)
I've been able to get answers to my questions and see that the developer
has not only addressed many of these issues, but is listening to the player
feedback, implementing their ideas into the gameplay!

That said, thank you Ryan/Bansheesoft. I do my share of complaining,
not always constructive, but I try to keep from repeating problems that
might've not been mentioned a HUUURDDE 1 (sp?) times yet in this thread.

Additionally, I'll attempt to keep things more constructive in the future.

For those unsure of they're education level with comments here:
Constructive Criticism: Criticism or advice that is useful and intended
to help or improve something, often with an offer of possible solutions.

Thanks all and have a great day!

Will there be an iPad version? I just picked up an iPad 2 and I would love to play on a bigger screen rather than on my iPhone 4. :D
