When I go home at night I always keep my nebula skill close by..because for gods sake that is more believable than using a 38...:/ dude its a game..relax..
AK-47s are not illegal in the United States. Please state your source for this completely incorrect assumption? Also, anyone with a Class III federal firearms license can own and operate pretty much just about any "non-destructive" firearm (no big explosives) to include the fully automatic kind. Only costs $200 for a 3-year license with about a $90 renewal fee. They're relatively easy enough to apply for and obtain, I highly suggest everyone getting one. Real fun is hitting the selector switch on that ol' M1A Carbine and rocking through a full clip of .30 Cal at some water-filled milk jugs. Legally. To knock down another myth as well, did you know that many states allow one to own and use a supressor (you kids call it a "silencer") completely legally? They work great even though they're horribly expensive and really cut down on the sound thus saving the ears. Anyway, back on topic: some of the weapons in the game are really whacked. Would love to know the backstory if you can find/remember it.
I've always been told they were and you can't just assume all kids think silencers exist. Its impossible to fully silence a weapon. Anyways lets try to get back on topic
Only law enforcement and the military can operate fully automatic weapons manufactured after 1986. A private citizen may own and operate a fully automatic weapon only if it was manufactured and registered before 1986. AK-47's can be semi-automatic (legal) or fully-automatic (illegal, if made after 1986.) Legal fully automatic weapons are prohibitively expensive to own in the USA due to their high demand and scarcity.
My brain hurts... gun enthusiasm was tired in the mid-90s; now it's just a cheesy redneck thing. RIP Charlton Heston.
Told by whom? You didn't think to do your own research into the matter? Kids and the movies call them "silencers" when in reality they're actually "suppressors" because of exactly what you stated: impossible to completely silence a firearm. Then again, there are also "flash suppressors", so I guess technically there are two different kinds of suppressors on the market.. Agreed. I find the Legen - wait for it - dary relics are pretty worthless. Not only do they currently cost way too much in materials to ever build (I know, fixed in Update 1), but by the time you do get around to getting the materials the actual armor itself is a big ol' bottle of Lowery's weaksauce compared to what you can buy in the store. A Level 10 Legen - wait for it - dary Relic armor should be the absolute BOMB of all level 10 armors. There should not be a single piece of armor with more armor points than the Legen - wait for it - dary armor. Currently this is not true in the game though. Which kind of sucks because you want a player actually excited when they pick up one of the relics - you want them to have that option to grind away for materials to make that armor. As it stands now, there's no incentive to make the armor at all, because it's worthless compared to other armors. Now you pump up the armor points on the relics and folks will grind away for them just to make future levels a little easier....until they advance in levels and run across higher level relics where the process starts all over again. Just my opinion on that tiny piece of the pecan pie that is this game.
Wrong. Wrong again. Half-correct - still not illegal. Wrong yet again. Go look up Class III Federal Firearms Dealer license again. There are many, many exceptions to the GCA of 1968. Do you honestly think law enforcement deals directly with every single firearms manufacturer and none of it ever goes through a local dealer? Yeah, umm...no. The vast majority of Class III firearms that local law enforcement purchase are purchased through a local Class III dealer. You might hear about or read PR releases from manufacturers stating so-and-so police department has standardized on such-and-such .40 cal pistol or Class III M4 but that doesn't mean the manufacturer ships it directly to the local PD. They ship to a dealer who has to do pretty much the same mess of paperwork for the local PD that they have to do for a civilian. If manufacturers did business directly with the LEOs then the dealers would riot and the manufacturers would be quickly overwhelmed in paperwork, so they let them get their taste of the deal.
It runs in a high res mode. No plans for AA currently. Larger fish to fry =).. Update one addresses lots of stuff =-)
Goty EVERYBODY, LOOK AT ME!!! IM USING ALL CAPS.... and game of the year voting is up... Vote for mission Europa, it's on there! Here's the link http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=89825
Boy im glad this thread turned into complaining about the real factor of the guns in the game. I thought i was the only one! Its a damn shame considering the dev even states that this is the most realistic weapon simulation app on the market. It had me fooled too man I was soo fooled that I went to the weapon store to buy a Tachyon rifle and the owner told me they dont exist! Can you believe that? Feeling dissapointed I went to my local wizard shop and learned how to call a Banshee to this relm. Now when my neighbors dog is barking in the middle of the night i just scare the crap out of it with the Banshee
Dont hate on crex man, if he had a better experience with dead space than mission europa, then his vote was a good decision
does this game has alot of IAP?? what is there uses ?? is it playable with or without?? or just for non grinding lovers??
The al includes what is basically a care package, bu you can buy it at any time, and upgrading all of your equipped items to a higher ummm rating. Ratings are decrepit, rusted, poor, normal, fine, something else, saintly, and angelic. The IAP makes everything equipped saintly, which is a huge damage/armor increase, for example, a lvl 17 saintly shotgun I have has 250 damage while my lvl 20 decrepit shotgun has 209 damage.
