I have played on both my iPod Touch 4G and my iPad 2. On the iPad you play in 2X mode, but it scales up very well. The graphics remain as sharp and cool as ever. Static screen shots don't do ME graphics justice. I think they are well-done and add to an awesome scary atmosphere in the levels. While other games have more detailed graphics, Mission Europa has unprecedented numbers of enemies on-screen in some of the biggest and most spectacular melees I've ever played. ME was always smooth on the iPod, so I haven't noticed any change on the iPad. On the iPad I moved the fire buttons to the bottom of the screen to make more room for my finger when I am looking around, so I find that a little easier to use. Finally, let me point out that the infamous crashes occur only during transitions in the game, such as when entering a level. I've not had a crash during melee. I save between battles (when I also check out the goodies I've looted) and I have never lost anything or any significant progress. The pending update will certainly address this issue, but the game is still very playable and loads of fun in the meantime.
I've been following this game for a while now and wanted to buy it after it's first major update (bug fixes!). I kinda missed the collector's edition special event thing so if I buy it after the update, will I get the 'awesome' weapons/skills?
Umm u will get the weapons and armor that come with the game but u wont get the items/skills that Ryan sent out but some ppl will give u some items to help u along the way if u need them
Don't worry you'll get some good weapons soon! It takes a while to get started but once you do your going to be pickin up weapons like its your job!
Ryan, I will be switching iTunes libraries soon so I will have to add all my games and music over again -_- so I was wondering if you could add a feature to upload your save to the server so I won't lose my 1000 some minutes put into it... I've stopped playing cause I worry I might have to restart...
If u use the same iPod then u can get all o it on there, transfer to the new iTunes thingy and u won't have to restart... If that doesn't work, you can dl it all separately (if that won't take too long) Or if u mean restoring or switching devices u can do it off a backup. Btw, I finally gave in and bought it... But I haven't followed this thread, anything I need to know?

Well then get everything on ur iPod and don't sync... Just click transfer purchases in the upper left. Sync with the old one first though so u can restore from backup (to get stuff back on ur iPod) if it doesn't work.
