How soon is "soon"? I'm really dying to play that alpha... And 2 things: 1.) The controls will be customizeable, right? As it stands, the fire button position looks somewhat weird, but that can probably be fixed. 2.) Are there any guns that can't be dual weilded and take up both hands? I think it'd bring an even bigger strategic element to the game, seeing as if you have a really powerful gun/weapon you won't abuse it by dual wielding it or by having that in one hand and a gun/melee weapon in the other, or it becomes sort of cheap.
1) Completely with 3 flipable panels.. that number in the top right is what set you are on... you can place them where ever you want just like necro =).. 2) Everything can be duel wielded but SOME things suffer greatly when not steadied. IE rifles.. but skills will be there to steady hands and the like.. routes will be stand off nuker with abilities. Weapons specialist. and Melee whack a mole.. of course all the in-betweeners also as really you can do anything..not having a shield really opens up the damage but opens up you taking damage to.. it is really up to the player and their ability load out =)..there is a weapon switching video it is the fastest I have seen with a duel wield system.. basically click weapon in slot. choose left or right and it swaps... -) And I really have no idea on time as this is not the main job paying the bills.. someday maybe...

THANKS!.. with a long good beta it really could be something special .. The tech is really getting there! I will have the tools after M.E. to really make some unique stories to live .. that is what I love about game making. It is the ONLY medium that allows a person to experience another world. I will post the duel wield video here again for those that do not want to go back to find it =)
Seeing as these betas usually take a good amount of time, I might be doing some short-term betas in between, since I'll probably apply for ones like Aralon, A4E Returns, Seige of the Necromancer and if any other big ones pop up. I will do my best, but if I end up slacking off a bit, that's why. I probably won't though, but just figured I'd let you know in advance.

Woahwoahwoahwoah... hang on a second... there's going to be MULTIPLAYER on top of all of this awesomeness!? I totally forgot about that! Man, this game is going to be the best. I'll test what you have so far. Even if it's just that one little room. I'll enjoy shooting robots in that one room. Actually, if you are doing wi-fi multiplayer and want some early testing I'm always open.

I am shooting for a battlenet style multiplayer with you and up to 4 freinds on a 3gs and 2 on a older system not just local net but we shall see! If y'all could spread the word it would be really appreciated the stick fighter 5.0 games are swamping me and a lot of other good games in an ocean of ......
I know... I NEED that work ethic... I procrastinate WAY too much and now have to write 2 (fake) letters, 3 summaries, and a short essay tomorrow. Fun, fun, fun. And I'd gladly get the word out about this. This game should be announced on the rooftops. We will use propaganda to convice people to get this game!!! And also, any plans on an XP-based ranking system like Call of Duty, where guns/abilities are unlocked as you go, or are you shooting for more of a Borderlands approach where you build your character up in the campaign, then take that character online and battle others with it?

Indeed. Every post in the What Should I Get thread will have not only Hook Champ anymore, but Mission Europa as well. This game will bombard the minds of the users of TouchArcade, or any iPhone website! All will know the name Mission Europa!! Ok, maybe I got a bit carried away, but this game definetly deserves a ton of attention. We will definetly be promoting this game.
Everything is drop based.. Like wow.. so some are REALLY lucky some are not.. unlock-ables though are a great idea... hmm I will think on it.. the multiplayer will be diablo battlenet style if possible.. -) And thanks for the word out.. I am swamped as it is making this beast! =) Necro was bad this is even more =)
