Oh ! Duh ! I thought it just went straight into review without a queue. Didn't realise standard was approved. Wow .... Collectors really could just be hours away.

    Buzzing !

The game I've played the most was probably Battle For Wesnoth, sooo many hours in that one.

Looking forward to this as a replacement :)

    good news :)

  6. Just so that I have one more thing to search for in the App Store... Will this game be published under "RyanMitchellGames.com" like Necromancer Rising and the older games (I understand there was some sort of trouble that happened in the past) or will it be under something completely new (Bansheesoft?).

You will know before me mate. It's 11pm GMT. Any news and I guess Ryan is as keen as anyone to put us all out of our misery and then we can begin the game !

    I can't believe I'm 39 years old and so hyped for a game ,,,,:D

Wow... congratulations on approval for standard edition! That's probably a good sign that the collector's edition will get green light, can't wait!

  10. I don't understand where you guys are getting the "standard version" approval from because I don't see Ryan mentioning it anywhere. Under review =/= approval.

Don't forget to dream up some weapons/skills on the weapons thread....your chance to finally bring that "spud launcher" or whatever else is floating in your twisted minds..;)

    I drive trains, Locomotive Engineer.

Do they really play through every game? If this is the case, ME is huge could take months to approve.

Or do they break it down to the coding level and check it that way? I'm not really sure how the whole process works. I have no idea actually. :)

Their process is pretty much a total secret beyond the checklists they put out. I do not think they play through the whole game. From what I can guess they check the check list. Make subjective calls on directives. Then play the game for X amount of time. Then they probably pass issues they think they have up to a higher level. Then you might get a phone call or a rejection...

All a guess after 2 years of app dev.. Really not a great process with the black hole of communication.. Responses should be in the order of hours not weeks for questions that need to be answered. So far 5 emails.. 3 weeks no answers. I was just asked to email a higher level.. ;)

Still a great place for indies to play around.. Not many indies can qualify/afford a 10,000 dev kit for a console. Nor the production costs associated. Games cost millions to make these days and the consoles HAVE to limit the games.

Back to the next version of the engine ;)

Seal of Heaven's Ward? What kind of non-sense weapon is that? No wonder Apple can't wrap their head around this one.
