The firmware will be available on the iPad this week, and I would expect it to hit the iPhone soon -- it's been in beta for a while.

Let me put it this way: do you think it's better for the release to be delayed a week or for Ryan to get a barrage of 1 star reviews because the game fails to launch on recently upgraded iPhone 4s?

I really want this to be released, too, but this is definitely the right call.

No no, of course not! I'm with you 100% but it's still a bummer. Either way Ryan now has the Beta firmware in hand so it's should be Ok. It's just strange that is wasn't mention during the first review, it would also help if Apple did respond to their emails. I mean, you change one line of code and have to wait 10 days to see if that was the problem!

I'm waiting to hear from Ryan to see if it's ok to post the FAQ now, don't want to spoil it!

Can't disagree at all with that. More communication would make the process a lot easier.

One of the reasons why the Android AppStore can't even be considered as a competitor to iTunes.

Hey, score one for Apple... they remain the last defenders of the shambles of my social and career life. Now I can live life to it's fullest for another 2 weeks... we really dodged a bullet on this one (for now).

Meh... frustration on both ends I am sure. (apple and devs). But the fact of the matter is: when this game gets released it will work on multiple devices and have less problems than a clear majority of PC titles and even a lot of consoles. I can deal with a lot of rejections when this is the case.
