As a random aside while we wait: Whatever the release date I hope the developers don't forget to drop the price after a few days just to show us all up for our misguided anticipation over time wasting video games! Collector's edition has been in review for two days now, I would guess it will be out soon if it all goes well. Standard edition still waiting to be in review. Anticipation is half the fun!!

No, that's about the norm right now for the whole process, including the time where an app is submitted but waiting for review. I assume that MrSpud is telling us that the collector's edition of the game is beyond the waiting stage and now on in the actual review stage, which can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days. It could be that they started it on Friday/Saturday and then went home for the weekend without completing the job, unless they work on Sunday. Either way we should know whether this time it was approved or rejected in the next few days, I would imagine.
I haven't been following this game. What is the difference between Collector's Edition and the Regular Edition?
CE has all episodes comes with 100 HP/MANA potions a strong starter shield and sword for 9.99. Regular is 3.99 I believe and you'll have in IAP the other episodes and no bells and whistles. I also believe there are an extra 4 episodes so 5 total.
With collectors Ed you also get to collect and wear all enemy armor....sweet make sure you wear your alien head in the arena...
Multiplayer is the reason I will be playing my own game It will be totally beta at the start ( good for that as you will probably be able to get lots of heads for pvp armor quick ) as we only had 10 or so dedicated testers in different time zones so it was really hard to stress the match server and the like. As I said before doom did take a few of my heads during beta though... One fun little fight ended with me poisoning him with a blood bolt right before he pounded me with a summon ( Reyem Neas ) right in the face. So I was melted immediately but he died a slow death right after me. I think multiplayer will turn out to be the best aspect of the game when tweaked

Apple is something else, how could you know if it works on a firmware that's not even released?! Really lame, I see what they mean now when people say that Apple doesn't care about developers, the good news it nothing was said about the anti-piracy feature... In the meantime I'm working on a FAQ to help people out, look for it soon, will let you guys know...
