Really hoping you manage to wing out a native iPad version or universal. That's all I have iOS-wise, but I would play it in 2x if I had to.
It already supports Retina =). It automatically detects and uses Retina if you have it. Most textures work really well also, as they were over-sized on purpose just in case this happened =).. If there is enough demand after ship I will look at a universal binary. =).. I plan on shipping a 3.1.2 version for the old devices if Apple lets me with not to much trouble.... My engine is such a screamer it runs great on my oldest of devices =)..
I think the iPhone Retina resolution is 960x640, while the iPad is 1024x768. I dont know how that will reflect in your code, but that probably means without being jailbroken it will be a 2x display of the 480x320 display when played on an iPad. I could be wrong about this though...

That's good to hear. Like I said, I will buy it anyway, so I will find out eventually one way or another for myself.
Does the screen flip for iPhones? That's probably the one thing I could wish for in NR... EDIT: Actually, I'd prefer a screen flip toggle - don't use the accelerometer just to detect orientation, as it'll use more power.
I do not flip for now.. but that could be an easy addition either post or pre launch depending on what the testers say =) well I say easy.. it might mess with the touch and menu systems.. not sure never tried =)
Toggle, shouldnt be hard to implement. So we should be expecting this in 3 weeks, or a month maybe. Probably somewhere around there.

Beta V 19?!?!? How much hours have your testers put into the game?! Must be a crazy amount. So how is the screen toggles right now? The home button is on the left or right side?
Yes they have put in a ton Mr.Spud and Doom have put in a ton of time... Pan has also.. yet they still love it.. that makes me very happy and proud of this bad boy!... Right now I have the home on the right.. I have always done this so you can cup the action hand over the speaker to aim in towards you... V19 is just beta BTW we had a TON of alphas also... .. Seriously probably the most playable hours out there that are fun and filled with cut scenes... 350+ game cut scenes with full audio (not to mention the bazillion weapons,armors, and enemies)... this was no easy task... over a year and a half of work...
You just love bragging about this don't you Not that there isnt anything to brag about, you have every right to.
Things are looking good, the only part left pretty much is making sure all the quests are working. The actual gameplay, menus, interface, items and skills are all working almost 100%, there's also going to be an option to skip/restart a quest in case something goes wrong like trashing a quest item or something like that. As soon as we all feel the quests are working properly and a few minor things are taking cared of, the game is good to go. Even if a few things here and there get by us we can always count on Ryan's dedication to have it patched.
Yay, that means not long to go Now I have Dead Space and all the games I'm beta testing to keep me occupied till this is released

Alright, spent way too much on apps over the past two months. I am going on app strike until this game is released so I know I have enough for it. Sooo...how long do I have to wait? :-/
