Wasn't aware of this game until today. Bought, because i need to support a Dev that makes such an update after three years !!!
Chris, this game is damned near perfect and I'm having lots of fun with it. However I have one request. The music and sound effects don't really pierce through enough and I find it difficult to hear on my iPad. Does anyone else feel the same? I can turn the volume right up but it kind of sounds muffled and drowned. I'm no sound engineering but it might need some kind of EQ boosting in certain spectrums to work better with iDevice's built-in speakers.
So... since I beat MCG again, I went back and re-played Super Mario Brothers 2 through GBA4iOS (so, both had the same controller, ect...) - and I have got to say (IMO - IMO!!!) - MCG has definitely beat out SMB2. While having multiple players is a perk, as Claire makes it through the game and earns more items giving her access to other areas and not having to go back through a stage just so that you can play with the character you need might not sound like much... but it definitely helps the game flow a bit more. Along with the story (so many heartfelt moments - especially the ending!), incredible graphics, controls/physics that felt perfect - Gah... I need to go back and replay it again. Hehe. =oD
Can someone help me get banana gloves?I read they are on level Simious Jumps and I assume they are located near the end of level where you jump on those two monkies to get to the exit.I see an area with that white bird and I think there are banana gloves(since I checked the rest of level) but I can't figure out how to get there. Syntheticvoid can you also please help me find Dolphin coin on Level 9-Croakk's Marsh.I checked the whole level,I even flew through the whole level on beetle but I can't find it and it's driving me crazy. Thanks
I just played through it and I'm having a hard time remembering where I got it... Maybe it's from the cat after you trade him something... I'm sorry I can't remember ATM. =o/
You can't get that until way later in the game. There's a LOT of items that are like that. A lot of flower medals and a lot of those birds you just won't be able to get until you're further along in the game. You'll be going back to replay quite a few levels if you're a completionist. =o)
I have actually beaten the final boss and I have fully completed 21 level(all flowers,birds and dolphin coin).I have all treasures.So do I still need to do something before finding that coin because I have no clue how to get there
Spoiler Beginning of the level. There is a sign that says: "Don't throw something..." Well, throw something at the left of the sign. And you will get your coin ;-)

Syntheticvoid I need help with one more level.I have perfectly completed the rest of levels. I need help with level 31-Hot Hot Tomatoes.I can't figure how to get to first bird(I see it but I can't reach it) and I can't get the Dolphin coin on this same level.I see it in the sky to the left above me near the checkpoint but I can't get close to it Thanks once again man
At the beginning of the stage, there's a moving block platform thing, you have to ride it all the way across to the bird, making sure it doesn't disappear (by landing on it whenever you can). As for the dolphin coin... Spoiler youll need to make it to the levels half-way point. Then die. You'll re spawn and a purple bat will appear below you when you start moving to the left ( towards the coin ). Jump over to the first wooden non-moving platform and try to keep jumping as high as you can, leading the bat further up. When he's as high as you can get him, stop jumping and let him fly over you, then jump on the bat and use the momentum from the jump to grab the dolphin coin. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be done , but it's how I got it. =oP
Thanks I managed to do it.That dolphin coin was tough,it took me ten tries to time that jump.I completed the hidden level and I can only say once again that this game is a masterpiece.
