Why, thank you very much, Chris! I'm beyond pretty surprised that mine is still the only review in the US AppStore since the update. =o/ I hate seeing this game not even on TA's Hot New Game's list in the TA App. I could go on... and on... and I can't even imagine what it's like for developers who deal with tough sales numbers. But I am incredibly grateful to have Miss Claire Garden on my phone, and I know that I am not the only one. So thank you for that. Thank you for MCG, and for all the love you've very obviously poured into it. ___________ Frost... Thnx.
Started playing this today and already stuck on level 2 lol. Supossed to bring a guy eggplant but I don't see it anywhere on the level. What am I missing?
You'll have to come back to it... you get the eggplant in a later level. Little note... Spoiler try bringing him blocks for a little something special **and on that note - for the life of me... I can't find the first bird in stage 5 - Crusty Coast. Anyone have any ideas? I've Spoiler checked all the trees, and got the 2nd and 3rd birds... but grrrr...
Wooo!!! 69 Feathers, and seeing everything that has been added to the game... it's become a... well... pretty darn HUGE game. It was a nice size previously, but now... wow. I am just blown away by the amount of content, especially when going for every single feather and all of the Dolphin Coins. Gaaah... lovin it. =oP
Just chiming in my share of playtime on this game. It's fantastic. Reminds me of the time i got addicted to Super Mario 2 with it's pickup-and-throw mechanics. One small thing i think can be improved is her acceleration from standing still to moving. At max speed, she moves at an acceptable but still slow speed (slower than most platformers at least), that an acceleration doesnt seem necessary. Other than that, Miss Claire Garden is one of the best platformers i've played on iOS. Great responsive controls, varied environments and enemies, good platforming mechanics, and overall solid gameplay. Not sure how i missed this before, but thanks to SV i am able to enjoy this game.
I just found this game due to the coverage from TA regarding the update, and man what a well done and enjoyable game! I've no idea how I missed it before but I sure hope this gets some more exposure as the game really does deserve it. Great job to the developer! This game should come bundled with a controller in the future as a nice way to show off the game, and the benefits of a controller.
in case someone missed this great game(including me ), here's how it looks on 4" latest device Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Just saw this game's trailer. I feel so stupid after losing so many time in the second level searching for that eggplant The only thing I don't like that much about the game is the music and the sounds. They are very quiet and low quality.
Right on, nice to see the game get a front page mention on TA. Looks like it got a couple people to check it out. =oD I just snagged my 92nd feather and am pretty upset that it's coming to an end... but... I might just go ahead and start the game right back up again after I 100% it. =oP **still being blown away by all the new stuff!!!! =oO
I usually skip platform games but for just a dollar with all the raves, I gave this a shot. I have to say it is wonderful and full of joy! I love it!
Those birds in Stage 30 are driving me NUTZO!! **WOOOO!! Just got em... =oP ***And now, the Dolphin Coin on Stage 31... OMG!!!!! Gonna throw my phone!!!
AHHHHHHH!!!! I just beat the game and got ALL the achievements. Sad, but so ready to play through it again (for an 8th time). Thank you so much, Chris. MCG has reclaimed its place as my favorite iOS platformer, and one of my favorite platformers of all time ( on any gaming platform ).
I haven't started this one yet, wanna finish Bloo Kid 2 first. Void's enthusiasm is not making the wait any easier.
Fantastic game. The touch areas for the virtual buttons are really small, though. Is there a way to customize those? I think the game would be a lot less frustrating if the touch areas were bigger than the actual virtual buttons. Just a suggestion / request. I still highly recommend this to any platformer fan
