Yeah, that was....That guy should forget about games for awhile and go back to school and become literate! Nothing worse than having to try to understand some Bozo who can't spell and even form an idea correctly!!!! DUH...........

Maybe they'll release it during E3 I'm getting tired of waiting for it but I enjoyed the console version so I'm sure they'll get my money whenever the game finally comes out.
See, I don't really like seeing all these people post about how "I'm not getting it now", but I have to be honest: I'm starting to get in the same boat. I honestly think the ship has sailed on this one, for me, and I highly doubt this will be a Day One purchase now (like it was going to be, originally). I'll eventually pick it up, but right now, I think I feel like this will be one of those titles where I'll wait for a sale. $3 is the price point I'll pick it up at.
Also from what I heard EA was advertising it as coming soon when they had a recent sale on other titles on the.
yes, they did, you can see it still in the description of e.g. Need For Speed Shift, at least in some european AppStore. I nearly forgot I wanted that game
Well, I thought that there might be hope for this game getting released now that the iPad has been released internationally, but then I just read an article that says the iPad was only released in nine other countries and will be released in nine more in July. Obviously since EA's strategy is to screw over the iphone users until they've gotten every possible iPad sale, that means this game still won't be released for quite some time. I know my interest in it has decreased quite a bit after all this waiting (since last November). By the time it does come out, I don't know if I'll care anymore. It was the game I was most excited about for quite some time. Now it's about four or five on the list.
Of course, the strategy is a no brainer. Milk the iPad owners before they dangle it to us iPhone/Touch gamers.
It's clever from EA as mirror's egde ATM is in most newspapers/review sites as the game to get for the ipad and bring marketed as using the ipads technology - if it's on the iPhone and cheaper people would just buy that. Don't think it as EA deliberately screwing over iPhone users because of hatred or something...it's a clever business stategy and it works as the sales for it would show.
You're so funny. How are they screwing you over? You may think you have a god-given right to have what games you want, when you want them, but EA owes you nothing. Sure, sure. People always post to threads about games I don't care about anymore.
Wow, didn't mean to personally antagonize you. First, I didn't say I didn't care about the game, I said my interest has decreased as the wait has increased, primarily due to some of the comments in the iPad thread for the game on this very site combined with the distaste caused by the wait and the lack of a release date. Second, consider it however you want, but I'm sure I'm not the only iPhone gamer who feels that EA shifting their focus away from the iPhone release after initially announcing the game for the iPhone an example of EA screwing over iPhone fans. They sought to make me interested in the game, they suceeded in making me interested in the game, then they revised their plans to make me unable to get the game during any of their previously estimated release time frames. Even during the first week of April they said iPhone gamers would be playng the game before the end of April, yet it still hasn't appeared, and (what's worse) they haven't provided an actual release date. Do I have a right to a release date on some constitutional level? No. Should they want to provide me one as a potential consumer? Yes. I never said I had a right to the game, so that's your innacurate assessment of my meaning, but I think the situation fits the definition I used. If you disagree that's fine. In truth, all I would like is a firm release date that EA will stick to. I don't even care if the date isn't until next November. If they provide a firm date, I'll be satisfied. Ever since last November all we've had is speculation, muh of it originating from EA, some of it originating from people trying to figure out EA's plan. EA could simply provide a date, and that would be that. Again, do I have a right to a date? No. But it would be good business to provide a date none-the-less.
You didn't antagonize me, you amused me. Can't you see how these two statements contradict each other? If they are screwing you, it because they are not keeping some sort of deal they made with you. If you don't have any right to the game, then they haven't made any deal with you. You can't have it both ways. They are disappointing you, but that's a completely different thing.
You're arguing semantics and technacalities now. It could easily be said that if someone takes actions that lead to a person being disapointed, then the fact that their actions have placed the person into a state of disapointment means they have screwed the person. But fine, if you prefer, EA is simply disapointing iPhone users by the choices they are making. Further, they are fully aware that there choices are having this result. In truth, I don't feel disapointed as much as anoyed at the EA mindset. Feel free to police this statement as well. We still don't have an actual release date to talk about, so we might as well blame the consumer for being interested in a game the company tried to make them interested in.
